Living in a village my nearest Sainsbury’s store is in Keighley. Regarding the Coronavirus safety measures in this store I was very impressed staffing on the front door giving trolleys to customers and they are cleaned before giving to customers . Very organised in store and I felt safe. I told one of the managers that I was very happy with their social distancing measures etc...I would just like to say well done

I have shopped at Sainsbury’s both in store and online before. When lockdown began I received email from them to say I was classed as vulnerable and would get a delivery slot easily. I have been shopping online since, only once having a problem. I contacted the Help Centre online, explained my problem and a delivery slot appeared almost immediately. They always have everything I need or substitute as necessary and I stipulate items I don’t want. This service is a lifeline to us self isolating folk and makes us feel safe. Thank you to all those at the store and who deliver the goods so proud of you all.

Blame the Government not Sainsburys
I have read the reviews and sympathise. Being in the at-risk group I have tried to use all the supermarkets but Sainsburys are the only supermarket have slots within the next week allocated to the at-risk - difficult to get because you never know when they are going to be released. The other supermarkets have stuck to their loyal customers of all ages and there are no slots for 3 weeks. This has meant that Sainsburys has been swamped by the at-risk. Instead of blaming Sainsburys blame the other Supermarkets for not doing spit all for the at-risk and above all blame the Government for not mandating the Supermarkets to give the at-risk priority - THIS IS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY!!

Grateful Customer with underlying health issues …
A few days ago I was a frustrated shopper with underlying health issues, unable to access ANY groceries for 2 weeks & fast running out. I wrote a review on Sainsbury’s site that I now take back wholeheartedly. It felt as though ‘we shielded’ had been promised a safety net that we were unable to access. However things have changed ! I have a delivery arriving Sunday from Sainsburys who have now prioritised me. Thank you Sainsbury’s, I won’t forget this when all of this is thankfully over. Your actions have a wider impact, I can now decline the ‘ free’ food box from the govt & it can go to someone who needs it more. I am fortunate, I can pay for my shopping, I just couldn’t get it. I can rest easier now without worry about food for the weeks ahead, thank you

I visited Sainsbury's Marsh Mills in…
I visited Sainsbury's Marsh Mills in Plymouth today and the service I received was excellent. I detest shopping and with the queues I've been finding it extremely stressful. I queued for a while but it seemed to flow reasonably well. Once inside the store staff were so helpful, I desperately needed flour and there was none on the shelves, a trolley came out with cling film on it and I noticed flour on it. I asked someone working in the aisle how long until it would be on the shelf and she instantly went and got some for me. Service with a smile. I asked another colleague where I could find something and again was cheerfully taken to said item. When I was queueing to pay I realised I'd forgotten an item and a lovely young girl went and got it for me so I wouldn't lose my place. Check out girl was friendly, smiling a chatted to me as she served me. I came away from the store feeling like a valued customer. Thank you to each and everyone one of you for making a stressful experience very pleasant.

I have now had 3 Sainsbury deliveries…
I have now had 3 Sainsbury deliveries and have just booked a 50p slot for next Weds. The first two went through perfectly. My Saturday delivery did get buggered up (not delvered), and I had trouble getting through (0800 delivery number cut me off) and Customer.service@ generated a response "not read!". But I persisted and found another 0800 no. and other email contacts. Justin at the Sainsbury call centre was very helpful and arranged the delivery 5 hours later. Head office rang me apologetically that evening, and the charge for my order was cancelled (whether on purpose of not I'm not sure). Also I got a bag of goodies I didn't order including toilet paper, 3 X Ritz crackers, etc and was told to keep them. So overall I'm very pleased with them! 5* for customer service, in the end!

Retail Hero's who deserve our grateful thanks
I have shopped at Sainsburys, East Prescot Road store in Liverpool since it opened. My whole experience with them has been very positive. They (the staff)are kind and considerate and because I shop at the same time each week - first thing on a Saturday morning I have got to know many of them by sight. Always get a warm greeting. I have been particularly impressed by their management of the new systems that have had to be adopted due to the present situation. I am however sickened by the moans of some of my fellow customers. These guys are at risk every day. I also wish to compliment Sainsburys bank customer service staff who dealt with my call cancelling Pet insurance on one of my cats. 10 days later I have had a cheque for refund of the unexpired part of the fee.My only issue is that as a vulnerable person I didn't get an e mail because my address with Nectar was not the correct one. I have now set that right but still can't register as a vulnerable person because I didn't get the original e mail and my new e mail address is not recognised. A bit disappointing.

Hi I would just like to say a huge thank you to my local Sainsburys, what an absolutely amazing job you are doing. I've been to the Silksworth, Pity Me and Sunderland North stores recently and am hugely impressed by the staff at these stores. Difficult times. I would imagine you like everywhere else have staff who are vulnerable and unable to work, but despite this what a fantastic service. Your staff are always helpful and cheerful. Thank you

Over 5 weeks ago I was splashed in…
Over 5 weeks ago I was splashed in petrol and your store in Chichester. The first woman at the petrol station was rude and said I couldn't even wash my hands off, the second woman was horrified and gave me a safety briefing on what to do next as I was covered from my shoes to my jumper. She called the store manager, Matthew Ahern. He walked me to the store and gave me some clothes to change into, he also said I would be given a refund for my ruined clothes. 5 weeks have passed and nothing has been done about it. My reference number is ECM 103938 and the person I am supposed to hear back from is Sean. He has never called, written, answered the phone. It is appalling! I would like the refund I was promised and for this to be escalated as this Sean is clearly not going to help. I am not willing to wait any longer either. 5 weeks is long enough even with Corona, it is no excuse to treat loyal customers badly.
