Faulty Garmin Watch - Excellent Service!

Not enough people praise a company when it has delivered exemplary service, so I just wanted to highlight a recent experience I had with Garmin. Last week, my beloved Garmin 735XT stopped holding a charge and kept turning itself off when unplugged. I emailed Garmin Product Support and they got back to me within the hour with a few tips to try in order to resolve it. It didn’t work, so they suggested I sent it back to them and they would issue a replacement – great! However the colour I had (pretty and girly!) wasn’t available until November and they only had black, was that ok? I said no, but I was happy to wait a few months for the correct colour. I sent my watch back to them in the meantime.Well today, just 7 days after my initial contact with them, I hold in my hands a brand-new replacement in the correct colour! They kept me informed and updated on every step of the process, from the initial complaint, through to receiving my old watch and issuing a new one. I seriously could not be more impressed with a company’s customer service and aftersales care so I just wanted to let you all know that if you have an issue with your Garmin they are FABULOUS to deal with and will go above and beyond to rectify the situation!

Great customer service!

After several hours of searching for a fitness tracker watch, I settled on the Garmin Vivosmart. It was exactly what I needed in a fitness watch but after a few months, the lights on the watch started going out. Looking it up online, I found that this to be a common problem. After a couple months later I decided to make a call to Garmin. Why did I wait?!?! The customer service was amazing. They listened to the problem, and gave me several options, including a free upgrade on the new vivosmart HR or even my money back. The new product I decided to go with is on its way and only takes 2-5 days to arrive. Thank you Garmin for valuing a customer who really does like your products!

I cannot speak highly enough of this…

I cannot speak highly enough of this company. I rang with an enquire about my vivoactive 4 and advice about buying a new one and they offered to replace my watch with no cost. This was totally unexpected by me and the replacement arrived quickly and the process was very streamlined and efficient. Would recommend this company and their customer service.

My Guardian 11 watch from CPR…

I bought my Guardian 11 watch from CPR Global of Swansea in August this year. They assisted me over the phone to set the watch. I have found it a very good purchase. The staff at CPR are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I would have no qualms in recommending them. They treat you like human beings. With the service this Guardian 11 is giving me, I wish I had bought a couple of steps higher up the product range. Five star plus

Have been a very happy Garmin user for years, having invested in 3 or 4 different watches. Had a reason to contact customer service today for a broken part. Agent was excellent and created an order for the supply and delivery of the part at no charge.

Best customer service ever

I bought a Forerunner 735X four years ago and it kept up with nearly daily wear, swimming and running for four years. Then, about a month and a bit ago, it just stopped charging. I did everything I could to reset it, cleaned the charging points, etc. but nothing worked so I called Garmin to see if I could replace the battery with them as it died. I was shocked with the response from Garmin - it was better than I ever expected, without any fuss at all the nice man offered to replace my four year old watch free of charge. No shipping charges or any other fee and two weeks after first calling Garmin I now have a brand new Forerunner 735X that works great. I have been very impressed by Garmin and it's customer service as a whole. Great job and I will definitely continue supporting the Garmin company.

Beware of scam sites

Went to update my Garmin and got a scam site who accessed my laptop without my permission - Garmin were so helpful - advised me exactly where to go and update safely - all done in about 20 mins - very impressed with their customer service

Excellent customer service.

My Vivosmart 4 developed a problem (although it still actually worked). It was 2 years old (so a full year out of warranty). Garmin offered to replace it straight up. I was very pleasantly surprised.I have enjoyed using the Vivosmart for the time I've had it and look forward to many more years from this one. When it comes time to replace it, I'd definitely look at a Garmin again.

Had a problem with the charging of my…

Had a problem with the charging of my Garmin 245 running watch. Product was very nearly out of warranty but technical help sent out a new charger cable to see if this was the problem. Initially i5 seemed to work back after a week or so the problem recurred. After persevering for a month or so I Contacted Garmin again and explained that I was still having trouble.Although now technically out of warranty there was now quibble and a replacement reconditioned unit has been sent out.Excellent service and a great product too. I have dealt with the UK repairs team a few twice now and on both occasions they have been excellent, thanks!
