Why I am satisfied with Garmin
I am sorry for everyone who were dissatisfied about their Garmin products; My experience is quite different and satisfactory and I explain:I got a Garmin Edge 800 since 7/8 years and never I had a problem...Recently I needed to change battery on the HEART RATE MONITOR...I was really disappointed that I could not re-establish connection between the two once I replaced batteries so I called support and after some phone and mail conversation there was not a positive result so I simlpy said this to the guy helping me out: I AM LONG TIME GARMIN CUSTOMER AND IN VIEW OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES I AM SURE GARMIN CAN EFFORT TO SEND ME A NEW HRM...I was kept on hold few minutes and when he came back he told me WE SEND YOU A NEW HRM, I PUT THE ORDER AND IT WILL ARRIVE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. I said thank you very much...I straightaway received a confirmation email (invoice) at ZERO COST FOR ITEM AND POSTAGE and two days later Royal Mail delivered the package...I very easily paired HRM with my Edge 800 and I am the happiest cyclist around (BTW MY GARMIN MARKING 32.000KM AND GOING!!!GOING!!! My bike is 52 year-old ...back in time I could NOT mark my distances!!!)....long live Garmin!!!!

Garmin encouraging device theft
I'm a professional sailor. My crews use all of the satcom messengers. The inReach works well. We had a device stolen. Garmin refused to keep the inactive device on our account so we can track it when it comes back on. Big Garmin has no system to permanently block stolen devices from being reactivated. Garmin maybe collecting fees from the thief now. #complicitI reached out regarding putting our account on hold during this time of no traveling (Covid). Billing offered, "I would be happy to waive the Annual Program Fee." They meant remove my device from my account so I have to reactivate.

Great service and product
My GPSMAP 7612 monitors for my boat had defective laminate. The touchscreens became difficult to use. Garmin warranty was easy to get ahold of. They replaced my monitors for free as warranty. They constantly stayed in contact with me through email and responded quickly to my questions. I had new monitors in a couple of weeks. I'm very happy overall with the performance of the monitors themselves. My first experience using their equipment and dealing with their service department has been a good one.

I've been using Garmin watch since years, they have the best app for activity tracking. Nevertheless, I have an Garmin forerunner 645 music, and during indoor activity the heart rate is catastrophic, my heart rate is below 100 event hough I'm all sweat and do intense activity. I did many complaints since last year and the issue was not fixed. So... If you want to use your Garmin outdoor, than it's a good choice.

My watch was not operating
My watch was not operating. I followed the steps online no luck getting it to operate. I called the 800 number. Wes answered and he was very patient with me as, I went through the steps. He got on my connect account and he had my watch operational within a few minutes. It was much appreciated. I have several garmin products and after this experience will continue to purchase them.

The strap broke on my Garmin HR+
The strap broke on my Garmin HR+. After a bit of faffing because the website wasn't very tablet friendly I managed to send the product back to get a new strap. It was returned to me three days later not only with a new strap but a completely new watch! The watch was also out of warranty. Excellent customer service! A**** Garmin thanks.

I have owned a Garmin watch for a while now. Recently I have had to return due to a failing battery 103665675601. The customer services were fantastic, the return process was simple and a replacement was sent out quickly. I couldn’t have asked for a better service.

I have a really old, 6+ yrs, Garmin Forerunner watch. I love it but I wore the band right out. Used the customer support and they were GREAT! Sent me a new band with no charges not even S/H. My watch will last me several more years I’m sure.

Great customer service and support.
My wife and I both purchased a Garmin Vivoactive HR smart watche several years ago and although mine has worked flawlessly my wife's recently developed a problem with the bottom part of the touch screen not working. We contacted Garmin Support and even though the smartwatch was out of warranty, Garman still replaced my wife's watch with a refurbished one at no charge. Great customer service and very helpful staff. I would certainly buy another Garmin product.

Great watch, poor quality straps.
Overall a great watch - The Forerunner 735. Does everything it should and what I beleive is a fair price point. The reason for the medium score is because every nine months or so the watch strap breaks, which is not only tiresome but means I don't trust the strap in all the sport I do.
