Great customer service with Garmin
I recently had a HR monitor that was acting up, and it was no longer under warranty. I got an immediate response and Garmin replaced it for $39.00 I thought this was fair as I got nearly two years use out of the monitor. They got back to me to let me know when it was shipped and gave a tracking number. I don't understand how there are so many people unhappy with customer service, because they were very fair in the way my issue was handled. I will continue to use Garmin. It is a great product.

Garmin is making a mistake
I’ve had no issues with my Garmin Drive Assist 50. In fact it has done everything I’ve wanted it to do. I’ve turned off most of the assist functions since they are more annoying than anything. What I like most is that it has a built in dash cam that actually works. So much so that I was going to buy another one for my other vehicle, only to be disappointed to learn that Garmin has discontinued these models and instead have gone separate devices. You now have to purchase a gps and camera separately, costing nearly double!

Huge improvement
Huge improvement! I wrote a damming review for Garmin 5 years ago, giving them 1 star for customer support. Recently I had cause to phone them again (twice in fact) regarding a new purchase I had just made and wanted assistance. The response was terrific. Very very helpful. I find it hard to believe this is the same company that I dealt with 5 years ago. New management perhaps, or new and better policies. Whatever the reason, I have only the highest praise to offer now. Well done and thank you.

Just bought the Garmin fenix 6 pro
Just bought the Garmin fenix 6 pro, don't get me wrong it has plenty of widgets ect, most you would never use and most are free on apps on your mobile phone.At 599 pounds it's basically a gimmick and rip off, you can get watches half the price which do what you need. Navigation is s let down , you would expect 1.25 is maps on it not a basic mapping system, you can buy viewranger on your phone for 27 pounds a year.The watch actually looks cheap too, compared to the suunto.Yes nice gimmick Garmin but deffinatly not worth the money

Amazing customer service A++++
My Vivoactive HR watch failed during a lake swim. Filling with water, buzzing on my wrist and then dead. I phoned Garmin on Monday, they said No problem at all, it's out of warranty (had it for 3 years plus) but we'll replace it straight away. Then sent me an email with return postage label. I received a brand new watch today (Thursday). AMAZING!!! Now that's what I call customer service. Garmin you're great!!!

Incredible experience!!! Garmin forerunner 235 stopped working while on holiday. Think it got water inside somehow, probably user error. Sent an email and within two days had opened a line of contact. Sent in my watch and they replaced it with newly refurbished watch. It's like a new watch!!!! Amazing service, can't wait to use it.

Excellent customer service
Seems like I'm swimming against the tide here but my experiences of Garmin customer service have been excellent. I have a Forerunner 735XT watch and have had no problems with the functionality of the device itself. The strap broke a couple of weeks before I took part in the London marathon but they posted me a replacement which arrived in plenty of time. When the strap broke again a couple of months ago they sent me two spares. I don't think there is a fault with the strap; it's just that the correct fit on my wrist seems to be in between two of the pin holes on the strap, so the pin inevitably stretches the divider between the pin holes. Just one of those things. Last week my watch died during a swim. There had clearly been some water ingress and I was fearing the worst because I was a couple of months out of warranty, but when I rang and spoke to Lauren at their customer services I was told that they would happily extend the warranty and replace my watch with refurbished version of the same model. It arrived very quickly and I'm back in action with the watch. Can't fault the customer service at all.
