Telus Promotions For Existing Customer April 2024

Our service has been disconnected by mistake on Sunday. Our neighbour had her router changed and did not tell the technician the other box belonged to us who are still living in the other unit upstairs. So he disconnected everything, our internet, TV and landline. We called that night the customer service and support but being Sunday night they could not solve the problem at that time. However, next morning when we called we talked to the customer service agent ( Maria) and the manager (Joy) and they worked very hard all morning to get a technician here to reconnect everything.By 2 pm we had a technician here (Eliyah) and together with the customer service office assistant ( Mary Rose) they have managed to reconnect everything by 3 pm. Your bank for your buck for internet is great for my region. Installation went well, the deal is clear and price is stable.I had difficulties to connect to their online plateform and pay the bills. I tried to talk to someone and never managed to. Life is too short to deal with those guys.They are a bit like my in-laws, as long as I don't have to talk to them, they are great.

Jake Swaffield went above and beyond , to solve the TV issues we at had in our Hotel , his professionalism was swift had the problem solved quickly and made couple of follow up call to make sure i was satisfied with the issue , what amazing customer service.

I just had Telus cone and connect me. Next day tv was not working. I called tech support and talked to Rachel. She was so patient with me, so friendly. Such a lovely experience. She tried to help a non technical person try to fix it myself. Nothing worked. She set up appt. for tech to come to my home. As soon as I hung up I fixed the problem so called her back to cancel. She bought me 5 movie rentals for my troubles. What a super nice experience. All my dealings with Telus have been very positive. I am so so glad I switched. And Rachel said I was a wonderful customer. Aww Thanks Rachel and Thank you Telus!!!! The positive experience depends on patience and attitude from both customer and company. I see alot of bad reviews but I've also seen how impatient and how entitled people can be and this can affect your experience.

If these reviews are to be believed then all service providers are “garbage”. Bell, Rogers, Telus, Freedom, etc, etc. In my experience, you mostly hear from disgruntled customers on these review sites. Happy customers tend not to write reviews. My initial experience with Telus has been positive and my friends that are Telus subscribers seem quite pleased with the service.

Ilya with Telus came into our home today to do the upgrade on our home security system. He was very professional and helpful with all of our questions. Took the time to do the job right!

We had home internet from Telus which is very high speed. But it has been extremely poor for a year. A technician named Satnam Singh came from Telus and solved the mystery in one hour. Now we have high speed internet. Telus needs that kind of technician who listens, diagnoses the problem and had a good knowledge of what he is doing.

Today we purchased SIM cards for our daughters' phones. I called Telus to get assistance setting up the SIM cards and set up new phone numbers. The lady that answered our call was amazing. Her name is Kristen. She was so helpful and patient and kind. She walked me thru the full set up of the SIM cards and setting up the phone numbers. Thank you Kristen for being so awesome!

I want to give 5/5 stars to Al for a really positive, helpful experience with this representative from the loyalty department. I was trying to help my dad (he's in his mid 80s, me and my sister have to help him with a lot of administrative needs) with his Telus account, the many other agents before him just seem to read from a script, one of them even repeating himself 4x times within the time frame of 5 minutes, he would not let me speak at all. That one hung up before he could be of any help, which I then tried again I was eventually connected to a representative by the name of Al. Al was very patient and knowledgeable and willing to help. With Al's assistance I was able to renew a contract on behalf of my father (who had been growing fed up of jumping through hoops with the previous representatives to get myself authorized). Al helped lift a burden off my shoulders. My father and I thank you for your sincerity, helpfulness, listening ear, knowledgeable answers, and willingness to see our problems solved. First, I would like to commend Telus for their recent effort they have made to improve our internet service. We originally purchased a Huawei hub from a ‘Telus’ store. Don’t be fooled just because the sign says Telus it is a privately owned store who, in my experience, did not want to see you again once they had your money and would only refer me back to Telus help line with any issues. The Huawei hub performed pathetically and after months of complaining to Telus I finally gave up until this past December when we couldn’t even Messenger with our family in Calgary. We are 13km outside Salmon Arm and according to the Telus web site, on the cusp of the hub service area. I could move the map icon around our property to show some locations were outside the service while other locations could receive hub service. This was a point of contention with more than one Telus phone rep. Finally after escalating my complaint Telus determined a hub should work. I tested our internet speed with Fast.com, Ookla and Measurement Lab. In many cases the Huawei hub barely provided dial-up speeds. My hub was upgraded to a ZTE MF279T in January and later an antenna was added to maximize reception. Happily I can say, usually we have between 10 and 25 Mbps download and 2 to 5 Mbps upload. There are still occasions we have no service or poor service but for the most part much better than we had. We can Messenger with our family and stream movies.Buyer beware, a Telus store will sell you a hub if they think it might work and then you are on your own. Do your homework to make sure you will have a strong signal before going forward. Just a FYI, we tried the satellite style internet and had major problems with continuity and speed. I highly recommend this product if you are in the hub service area.
