I love to drool over the items at Modcloth. They are simply gorgeous - especially the dresses and the shoes (oh, the shoes!). When I have made purchases, I've been pleased with the shipping speed. I've also been able to make returns without a hitch - their process is very customer-friendly. My only beef with Modcloth is the price. I would shop here a lot more if the prices didn't border on the ridiculous.

I'd heard conflicting stories of people's experience with ModCloth, and admittedly the reviews here don't make them look great, but I decided to order anyways and I'm glad I did.I made the mistake of ordering just ahead of the Good Friday/Easter Monday civic holidays, so the package vanished from tracking for a bit, and seeing as I was in a bit of a time crunch as I am moving, I contacted customer service. Both the phone and email representatives I spoke with were very helpful, informed, and friendly. I was assured by the email representative that if the package disappeared or came too late and was returned, she would process a full refund immediately.While the skirt I got wasn't really the fabric I was expecting, I still love it and it fits perfectly and I'm more than satisfied with my experience, I'll definitely be back.

i ordered it 12-07-2021 I ordered a parcel over a month ago. Shipping labels were generated but the shipping company tells me the parcel has not been delivered to them yet.I have emailed customer service twice with no reply.I went to their official site of this company and I found this helpful info which .is and after a long chase, I got my amount back shipping details as well DO NOT BUY FROM THIS

I can admit that I stalk the Modcloth website for a great find on nearly a daily basis, but I rarely find something that is worth the unrewarding experience of being a Modcloth customer. Modcloth is aware that it has a niche market, and they price and service accordingly. In a nutshell, you're either willing to go through their rigamarole to try on that adorable mid-century inspired squirrel print dress or you're not. 1) Returns are a time consuming hassle. As one reviewer points out, their return policy is clearly stated on the website. However, they fail to inform that there is often a 30-day turnaround from the time you drop off your package to the time they receive and process. I once paid my own return shipping in hopes to expedite the process from the normal parcel service. This only confused the process more and in the end, same 30-day turnaround. It's also worth noting that they have a fairly short (30-45 days) return period. 2) Customer care is non-existent. Yes, they provide customer service. The chat service is convenient and quick. However, they fail to provide an actual customer CARE experience. There are no rewards for repeat, loyal customers, and they have been unwilling to provide any extension on promo codes if even due to their own app failures. 20% off is barely a discount in my humble opinion, and if you have a customer ready to throw down $300 it seems in best business interest to accomodate the customer. I will reluctantly continue to peruse Modcloth but over time, I have become much more selective on when to actually make a purchase because of their lack of care. Step it up, Modcloth. Your products aren't cheap - REWARD YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR LOYALTY AND TIME!!

Amazing costumer service! I purchased some boots that were too big. I contacted customer service at 8:30pm and they helped me exchange them quickly and easily. They also shipped my new item for free and included a free shipping label for return of the boots I had! So pleased with how easy and pleasant this experience was. Thank you!

I honestly don't understand why ModCloth has so many negative reviews, I was expecting the exact opposite. I first started shopping on ModCloth in 2010 and have, over the course of 8 years, spend thousands of dollars on goods from there and have never had a problem. I do agree that their sizing can be a bit strange but it's mainly because ModCloth sells many different brands of clothing, a lot of them being retro companies too and retro sizes are always all over the place, make sure to read reviews first! ModCloth's own label pieces run true to size and are always the best quality, I haven't even had any of my pieces rip, tear, or ruin. They're expensive, but very much worth it!

UPDATE-- MODCLOTH has changed their stance and made this right with me. Just had to speak to the next level of support. Thank you ModCloth and I will recommend them now for their good customer service. Received a broken swimsuit, the underwire/sidewire portion was broken/missing. I returned the suit and they claimed they can't refund me because the swimsuit is broken. DUH Why do you think I'm returning it? I am very disappointed and I will not order from them again considering they are SUPER expensive and I can't afford to lose this much money on a broken item! I am going to give this negative review on every possible review website I can find. Shame, I spent hundreds of dollars with them over the years and they refuse my ONE and ONLY refund request. You've lost my business forever. Hope that the $80.00 was wroth the potential revenue you've lost.

I don't know where all these bad comments are coming from. I have been purchasing cloths fro them for almost three years now and I love them. The customer service people remember me from there Pittsburgh location if I call. A return somehow got lost in the mail and I was refunded my money ASAP. I've had one not so pleasant person one time in three years and they weren't even that awful. I do my majority of my shopping here 10 stars in my book. :)

When I was coming to review ModCloth, I was expecting nothing but good reviews--wow, I for one am quite surprised at all the negativity. I'm not a regular shopper at ModCloth simply because their pieces are pricey, but I recently ordered a dress and I'm very happy! It was shipped the day after I ordered it and it got to me in less than a week, the dress I had ordered looked exactly how it did online and it was in perfect condition and excellent quality. The only thing to complain about ModCloth is that yes, their products are pretty expensive, but you can find a lot of awesome things on sale for a good deal; the dress I bought was originally $80.00 and I got it half off. Seriously, look at their sales!

I have the ap on my phone. Tried to order. Says password not good, email new password? Yes...never got password. Tried 3x's. Clothing expensive but was willing to pay the price if it was easy to order online. I'm moving on. Customer Service in the past was excellent, not sure what changed.
