The beds are great, not like any other mattress'. It really is a product that you need to try out in a store though or its real easy to make a mistake with online purchases. Their website is also very misleading. Lucky for me I went into a Reddit thread & found out more about them or I would have also made a mistake. Online when you click on a mattress it shows it w/ elevated head. Many ppl thought it was the mattress that moved. Its NOT that is a whole separate item & its not cheap. Price also doesnt reflect delivery which is mandatory. If there is NO free pick up option then the price should already include delivery. So that $3500 mattress w/ elevated head in the picture is more than 2x that much after adding the actual piece that elevates the head PLUS add on delivery charge. I love the bed & its worth every penny, but their website is very misleading. Also the options given online are not your only 3 options. Another mistake I would have made if i didnt call the store. Overall would have been 5 stars but website is extremely misleading & its really is a product that should be bought in store whenever possible

Warning!!! Do not buy a sleep number bed and use another Leggett and Platt base. Only their adjustable bases work with their beds. The sleep number sales staff will not tell you this and when they deliver the bed, even if you return it, they will charge you over $400.00 for shipping. After several phone calls with ridiculous wait times that felt like days on hold, I finally got to someone in the corporate office who reversed the shipping and agreed this was an employee education issue that I should not be responsible for.

We bought this bed three years ago. We have had very few problems with the bed but I have concerns about the massage feature. It's noisy and needs constant attention.My major complaint is with the upper management. They distant, unsupportive and rude. The people on the front lines are friendly but not always knowledgeable about the product. I would not buy this product again.

On October 30, 2020, my wife and I visited the Sleep Number store in Covington, La and was greeted by Tim C (the store manager). We were immediately impressed with the steps the store had taken for Covid-19 precautions and Tim began to educate us on the available Sleep Number mattresses and questioned us about our sleep preferences. After spending some time trying out the mattresses, we made a decision and placed an order. Tim gave us a few available delivery and installation dates and we choose one that matched our schedule and we left the store feeling really good about the decision we made.Ok, so here is where we began to regret the decision we made. On the morning of December 5, 2020, which was the scheduled delivery date, I get a call from a Sleep Number representative who says my delivery date would need to be rescheduled because the bed was still in Jackson, Ms. Now keep in mind, I had received two text messages confirming my delivery during the week and now 2 hours before it was supposed to be delivered to me, they realized it was in Jackson, Ms. The next available date would be on December 29. 2020. I advised the representative that the date he was given me would not work for us because we had family coming in on December 19, 2020 for the holidays and we needed the bed that we were told would be there on December 5, 2020. He advised me that they would do their best to work us in before that, but he was told to put us down for December 29, 2020. How is it fair that a mistake that was made on their part caused us to go to the bottom of the list? You would think that special attention would be given to this situation to ensure the customer was happy even if it meant working after hours.We have already donated our bed and we are currently sleeping in our spare room. I called Tim on December 5, 2020 and he had already read the notes on my account and he said, “ I really do not have a good answer for you of why this happened”. I asked if there was anything he could do to expedite my delivery and he said he had emailed his boss to see if he could do anything because he worked in the retail section and they would not listen to him. So be aware, it appears that once the sale has been made, delivery and service after the sale is totally out of the control of the personnel in the retail storeI will be updating my review as we progress through the process, but at this time I am not confident in the delivery process or on any service that may be required after delivery. I had to buy a $300 mattress to accommodate my relatives through the holidays.On December 8, 2020, after posting this review on the Consumer Affair’s website, I received an email from Sleep Number online customer care that apologized and ask for my order # and contact information. They then said it will be shared with their managers and someone would call me in 4-5 days.On December 8, 2020, I placed this same review on the Sleep Number website and it was removed a very short time later. I received an email that stated our team has reviewed your review and it does not meet our guidelines and therefore it will not be published on our website. No wonder the reviews on their website are majority 5 stars with a few 4 stars. Since they were not specific about what part of my review did not meet their guidelines, I can only assume it was the fact that I only gave them 1 star and was critical of their service.Update: I was contacted by a costumer satisfaction consultant from the Sleep Number corporate office. He was able to move my delivery date up to December 23 and give me an account credit for the cost of the temporary mattress I had to purchase. I will edit my star rating accordingly and do a final review when the bed arrives.Update: We received the bed as promised on December 23. The delivery team arrived in a timely matter and put the bed together very quickly. They wore mask and were very mindful of Covid guidelines. They covered everything that needed to be covered, but you could tell they were overbooked and had to hurry to the next location. They said they were installing 8 to 10 beds a day. Overall it was a pleasant experience with two professional and energetic employees.So as of today, we have slept in the bed for 4 nights. The first 3 nights, I adjusted the bed to dialed in my sleep number and on the 4th night, I had the best night sleep I have had for years. I am hopeful that the bed holds up for many years to come, but at this point, I am finally satisfied with my purchase.

We have had the I 10 split king with all the bells and whistles for about 5 years now and in all fairness it’s been a comfortable bed. That being said, we have experienced problems with it that have us looking for a new one. First, after awhile the side panels break down from age/wear and need to be replaced. The company will pro-rate the charge on these items based on how long you have owned the bed, therefore the longer you have owned it, the more you have to pay. Second, the cloth that holds the whole bed together loosens up over time and the bed begins to side off the foundation which causes you to list to the outside all night. This seems to be a serious design flaw and would not take much, in my opinion, to resolve if the company really wanted too. If I were the company and someone was willing to put out 10 grand for a bed, I’d fix the problem. I have spoken to the manager of the several Sleep Number stores and the only fix they can come up with is for me to shell out another 10 grand on a Flex-King bed. I won’t bore you with all the whole conversation with customer support, it suffices to say the paying a lot of money to replace the mattress covers and side rails did not fix the problem, it only put a bandaid on it for a year or so. Third, the foundation is on rollers that you have to keep on something to hold them in place or the bed will roll all over the place at night. This is a major irritant, but I was assured by the manager of our local Sleep Number store that when I buy my new Flex-Head bed we would not have that problem. Lastly, the split king, which is two twin bed, is held together by two plastic clips and I think that could be done better.

I love the store in Riverpark Oxnard. Ask for Jose, he’s wonderful. Love the bed. Love the pillows, excellent customer service!!!!

was shocked to see so many bad reviews, seems like it manly stems from their customer service side which to my luck, has been very pleasant and easy so far. Purchased a mattress from them and the change in sleep has been astounding. Best purchase I've made, the price does add up real quick but when it comes to your wellness, I don't think you should go the cheap route but also stay within your budget. The dead zone in the middle of the bed does get to me sometimes but overall I'm very satisfied with the mattress and will continue to purchase from them.

So interesting that these reviews are either 1 star or 5. No in between, which is how reviews usually go, subjective. My husband & I have owned a SN bed for about 15 yrs now. Anytime we needed anything this company has been responsive & helpful. My husband has finally ended up selling these beds for 6 yrs now & is a store Mgr & it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of his career. People come into the store as a last resort many times, in pain & needing help. My husband & his crew have the privilege of walking customers through the steps to find the best bed for them. They follow up, & the customers sometimes beat them to it, telling them they love their beds. They answer questions & concerns of both their own customers & of those from other stores, because building & sharing the SN name is THAT important. Yes there are occasional customer service problems when calling corporate or with delivery, but it's rare. Overall, this really is an amazing company!! They have a great product & they are wonderful to work for!!!

Had back problems.....not anymore.The sleep number 360 is truly an amazing bed... 2 thumbs up....
