Sainsbury's are by far my favourite…
Sainsbury's are by far my favourite supermarket. I feel they meet at all ends - Not too expensive but not dirty cheap - i trust the products I buy without feeling like im breaking the bank. My experiences elsewhere are not feeling confident in the products or they are simply too expensive. A lot of people are complaining about the fact there are no click & collect delivery slots...we are in a pandemic so what can you expect, other retailers have more availability because they aren't as popular!!! ;)

Blame the Government not Sainsburys
I have read the reviews and sympathise. Being in the at-risk group I have tried to use all the supermarkets but Sainsburys are the only supermarket have slots within the next week allocated to the at-risk - difficult to get because you never know when they are going to be released. The other supermarkets have stuck to their loyal customers of all ages and there are no slots for 3 weeks. This has meant that Sainsburys has been swamped by the at-risk. Instead of blaming Sainsburys blame the other Supermarkets for not doing spit all for the at-risk and above all blame the Government for not mandating the Supermarkets to give the at-risk priority - THIS IS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY!!

Exemplary service in trying times
I didn’t usually shop at Sainsbury’s before the covid crisis but since moving my mum and dad in (both over 70 and with underlying conditions) - prior to lockdown - I have used my dad’s account to gain access to a regular weekly slot. Of course there have been some shortages and substitutions but they are always prompt, incredibly polite and as thorough as I could possibly hope for in fulfilling my list. Me and my family will never be able to thank you enough for the support you’ve given us during this crisis. Stay safe and thank you again for all you are doing at risk to yourselves!

I have been using Ocado for home deliveries for a several years…suddenly without warning I am told can no longer get delivery slots despite being over 70 it would seem I am no longer considered a priority being told by customer services that, quite rightly, the most extremely vulnerable should receive priority treatment but (and get this) as well as only their ‘most loyal customers’ (ie those that regularly spend the most money with them). Faced with this problem I approached Sainsbury’s who incidentally I have been shopping with locally in-store for more years than I care to remember ….they couldn’t have been more helpful and now I can happily order home deliveries. I am sure the level of customer satisfaction depends on the store from which the deliveries originate. All I can say is my local store Pallant Way Locksbottom in Kent up to now has been absolutely brilliant….I can’t praise them highly enough… minimum substitutions……punctual…. and very helpful drivers. I look at the bad revues and think that I am writing about a different supermarket. Once this terrible pandemic is a thing of the past I look forward to being able to browse and shop in store once again. Thank you Sainsbury’s

Silksworth, Pity Me and Sunderland Nth
Hi I would just like to say a huge thank you to my local Sainsburys, what an absolutely amazing job you are doing. I've been to the Silksworth, Pity Me and Sunderland North stores recently and am hugely impressed by the staff at these stores. Difficult times. I would imagine you like everywhere else have staff who are vulnerable and unable to work, but despite this what a fantastic service. Your staff are always helpful and cheerful. Thank you

Wow!! I shop regularly in all the big supermarkets. I am a professional Chef of over 45 years. My personal favourite meal on a Saturday night over the past 30 years is a simple Beef Rump Steak. For the last 3 weeks I have purchased the Big Daddy Steak costing an excellent value £5. I have to say...All 3 have been of exquisite quality and I commend Sainsbury's buyers and butchers on the quality of this product.

I’m very happy with Sainsbury’s in Shirley Solihull, they always let me in, even when there’s long Q, the security is very friendly towards me. I took some items to the till and the lady told me that, I should put one back, reason being, I was only allowed two. After I smiled and said “ I’m so sorry, I forgot the new policy, I will go and put this back “ then she she said “ it’s ok this time, I will scan it, but next time, just be careful “. The only problem I found is, shoppers passing too close and not keeping 2 inch social distance let alone 2 metres. I don’t know why they want to deliberately touch my arm.
