Hi,I was looking for an other airline from Asia as i wanted to read the review as i wanted to buy a cheap ticket for Manila from London for next April 2020 and i decided to check what people were saying about Oman as i used to fly with them when going in asia. I am so chocked to see all this negatives comments.I am french living in London and i took 3 times the flight and to give you an idea it is the same or almost the same level standard as Em***ats. The staff is great, professional, polite, smiley. I never have any delay and the staff speak english too. i dont remember about what kind of food but i had the choice to choose between meat or vegeterian and it was good. They even lost the rain cover of the pushchair of my daughter when i went in Malaisia and they refund me 1 month later so their customer service was great and very easy to contact!! Also if i remember good they were one of the best airline company in the world (what i have read in the past). I am true honest and not paid by Oman air so i dont understand this poor review.This always the cheapest price ticket after asian cheap airline that i don't want to use for some reason.Just to say i am very surprise of those review or maybe all the 95% of people who flied with Oman never wrote a comment. This is why i am doing it now.

Flew to KL with them in April. Great experience. Very smooth transfer at Muscat.

Took months too get a refund, but at least I got I money back in the end.

This review is from January 2020 we booked business class flights to Thailand which were fantastic , I’m currently looking to go again this Christmas but looking at current reviews I really don’t know if I should.Or are people been negative because of COVID?

I’m actually really surprised at the reviews on here and it made me feel like I needed to write one myself . I travel with them often business class Manchester - Dubai and back .The business class I would rate it as higher then Emirates . The beds are longer space to lie down . Food is nicer . Always get pyjamas on night instead of having to ask for them . Staff loverly . Airport lounges great . I actually can’t fault them .They gave me 2 free upgrade vouchers when I reached gold member .And They got me upgraded to platinum year on my car hire place sixt because they are a preferred partner . So I’m really happy with them and just wanted to put that out there x

Good airline with good service. Heard people complaining about refunds. In my case the stuff was very kind and helped me change my tickets even on late notice.

The only airline that didn’t profiteer to get people home from Thailand. Granted the food wasn’t great but what airline food is. However they didn’t cancel as many other airlines did and they didn’t hike their prices. Thank you for making a stressful time easier.

To all those who are upset over the refund issues, I have a good news for you. I have booked tickets in May 21 and got refund in July 21. So it is almost like less than 2 months. My advice is to send a written complaint to Oman civil aviation authority, also try chargeback from the credit card(assumed that you used the same for purchase of tickets). Wish you all good luck.
