Fjallraven Kanken Student Discount May 2024

i bought the fjallraven 65 after my kajka 75 proved a bit big for summer gear .i was after a 55l but fjallraven are a bit short of them , the 65 is just right when your packing lighter summer gear fit is good although the pack sits high for some (not a concern many have) but would be perfect for an adjustable height waist harness like the shoulders are , the packs are heavy 3 kg ish empty .. but theyre tough if like me you love scotlands granite rocks , thinner lighter packs cant handle this stuff ,i know iv trashed a few , the kajka's breeze through the roughest terrain , un perturbed by the thickest pack shredding brambles , really comfy great weight distribution once packed correctly ( comfort on any pack is down to you getting the weight / ballance with ANY pack) i love the big gaping mouth on top of the kajka's for getting dslr's in and out ,i carry mine on one shoulder ( bad form i know )or both and without the waist belt fastened , again bad form , its a photography thing , but comfort is still great, and i dont care about form anyway ! setting a big full frame dslr up every 5 mins is the main reason i travel for weeks some times months with this pack , i can carry a full week suply of expedition foods meals in the side pockets , leaving the main compartment for main camping gear ,there are plenty of zippered lid pockets ,for smaller gear rain proofs and maps sporks compass etc, bollè eye protection .you get lots of kit in there !, its a true expedition pack in every sense , i own two because my winter gear packs larger than my summer kit ,everythings geared towards thermal in mt 75 L, the 65L is ample for the rest (i pay for my own gear ) iv used all kinds of military spec ,expedition gear, the kajka's really suit me however i choose to wear it , sling style ! just shoulders , or fully clamped with waist harness , its tough

Have their parka for 6 years already, don't even want to think about changing it. I use it almost for three seasons. Recently one zipper puller broke and all I needed was to contact customer service. Jörgen A. was so helpful, he picked the best matching color of zipper sliders, added a stopper and even the puller. Customer service is as awesome as their parka!Definitely it will be my choice #1, once I need a jacket.

I've been really pleased with the quality, packaging and dispatch time of my products. Quite expensive though!

Customer service is brilliant. I'd misplaced part of the item I'd bought a few years ago. Emailed the company to ask if they sell that particular part. They replied back to say they do but it won't be in stock for a long time but they had a display model and could send those parts, which they did. Amazing.

I love this backpack. My first one lastet 8 years until the color started to fade. The straps are very comfortable and adjustable. This backpack doesn't only look nice but also feels great to wear.

I am a size 44 jacket, 5ft 10, but a Medium size Anorak No 8 was easily big enough for me with both a base and mid layer underneath (still room for a third layer which would make it snug and long enough to keep groin dry too). The quality looks great but not yet tested in extreme cold or wet.

I placed an order on the official site. 3 days later it hadn't shipped. Then I saw all these negative reviews and started to worry so I emailed them.One day later: a shipping email and 2 hours later a reply from customer service.The day after that the order arrived.Shipping could be a bit faster and it's weird you can't reach them by phone.For the rest: all good.

They have good jackets and nice bags but I dont think they really worth that much. Keep an eye on their discounts :)
