I had never heard of Wayfair before this order but took the chance as they had a massive choice of recliners that seem to be a crossover between office & living room chairs. All prices seem to match eBays, where as Argos had one eBay chair at twice the price!!! My experience is that I ordered late one night, it was dispatched the next day & delivered within the 2 hour time slot by a helpful courier. I realise there are negatives about this company but I've heard all those complaints from friends about the big high street names & they paid 5 times more than Wayfair!!! I took the risk & it paid off for me

I have bought stuff from Wayfair before and everything has been very good, until I wanted to return something that is.I bought a flatpack glass coffee table and on delivery, I checked it for damage and all was ok. But the packaging inside was not very good and some of the metal parts were rolling around inside onto the glass. I packaged it back up as we were not ready to use it and it was a few weeks later that we came to assemble it only to find out that the holes for the legs didn't line up with the glass panels, making it unusable.I checked the dates for returns only to find out that I had gone over the required 30-days. I thought this would be a problem. I contacted Wayfair by online chat and they answered straight away. I sent them pictures of the issue and they said that they would send a replacement. All is good so far.I received 2 emails one showing the replacement and its delivery and another for the return with Hermes, which included a returns label. I thought all this was really easy. Unfortunately, I couldn't access the returns label. I then had to go back to the online chat and explain this. They said there was a 'technical issue' and they were rearranging the collection with UPS. I would receive more emails very soon.2 days later I hadn't received anything from UPS but I had someone from Hermes arrive to collect the parcel. But they wouldn't take it because it hadn't got a returns label. I explained what had happened and they said they would defer it for another couple of days.I then had to go back to Wayfair and explain all this. They informed me that the collection request from UPS had also failed and they would have to get someone from their 'Special Collections Team' to sort it out. They would contact me in 1 business day.Later that same day the new table was delivered by Yodel. All in good condition.The following day I received an email from the 'special' team at Wayfair informing me that the following day UPS would come to collect. However, UPS doesn't give times slots but they will attempt to collect over 3 business days.In the meantime, Hermes arrived again to collect the parcel. This had clearly not been cancelled by anyone at Wayfair.The table was successfully collected by UPS and the new table is now assembled. Something that could have been so easy turned out to be a drawn out process and a waste of people's time.

I have placed multiple orders with Wayfair in the last four weeks and I have been quite impressed with the delivery as the product was delivered mostly before the original date mentioned as part of the order. The other good thing was the way Customer service handled my query related to minor damage on one of the delivered dining chairs. The phone call hardly took less than 5 minutes and the replacement chair was ordered directly on phone within 5 minutes.
