In the last 2 years I've used Sixt at PMI airport 3 times & can only say that they are a class act. They might be slightly expensive but I hire a premium car like a BMW 3 series as a bit of a treat. The 1st car I got was a brand new C Class Mercedes with 7kms on the clock. The 2nd time I got an Audi A6 which had 30k on the clock & unfortunately it had a few scrapes but fortunately for me the "Add Blue" warning light was on the dash & they didn't have the additive so they upgraded me to an unbelievable Mercedes CLS ( these cost £58,000! ) then in April just gone I requested a Mercedes C Class again but as the new cars hadn't arrived at the branch I was given a Jaguar XE with 5k on the clock. All the cars bar the A6 have been immaculate. I've used all the hire firms in Majorca, Goldcar, Record Go and the like & Sixt are in a different league. They treat you like your an executive on business rather than someone on holiday! Each time I've picked the car up I've not had to que up for more than 5 minutes. If you go to PMI airport have a look at the Goldcar que, it's normally a mile long & I've been in that que myself in the past for around an hour & a half, hence I got fed up & tried Sixt & I wouldn't use anyone else now. The insurance is without excess but I always buy the wheel & tyre cover just for my piece of mind, it's about £55 for a week. They also do full tank on pick up & you return it full with no hidden charges. When you return the car they come straight to the car & check it over for damage whilst your stood with them & on the 1st & 2nd occasion I signed his electronic pad saying all was fine & on the last one he didn't ask me to sign but said it was all good. I've never been charged for any damage or missing fuel once I've got home like some other firms have so if you don't mind paying slightly more you will get a great motor from a totally trustworthy company. They even give you a discount card for 10% off all future hires!

I had a bad experience with another car rental company so had to return to Dublin airport to hire a car at the desk. The young man at the Sixt desk Sean Hart could not have been more helpful so the end of my day after what had been a nightmare ifew hours was turned into something positive. This was on 22 August 2019 at around 10 45 pm. SEAN#excellent service.

Collected a car from LA airport. Check in staff were a bit lacklustre. Waited ages for car and when it arrived it was filthy inside and out. As soon as we told Sixt staff one of them immediately took the car to be cleaned and apologised. Later found out this was Jacob, the manager. He later gave us a refund and was incredibly helpful. Things will go wrong, its how you deal with them that matters and we can't fault their response.

I hired a car for a week in the Porto, Portugal branch. No hard sale. The pick up process was very quick. Less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Very clean car as well. The delivery process was even quicker and I was on my way again to the airport. Refund of deposit took 2 days. Thank you for a stress free service.

I booked the cheapest Sixt car I could through Expedia.co.uk and paid everything upfront. I loath what's come to be the gamble of modern day car hire, but this one certainly paid off. When I picked up the car there were no additional costs, no hidden extras, no fuel charges, etc... The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I wasn't pressured into taking their insurance (I have my own). It really was the easiest, stress-free vehicle pick-up and return I've had.I opted to pay Sixt's $7/day Sunpass (covers all road tolls). I should've researched Florida's tolls before my trip to see if this was good value, but I forgot. Again, I wasn't pressured into taking it, it was just casually presented as an option. My only nark was I had to take it for all days of the contract or none, I couldn't have it for just the days I knew I'd be travelling on the highways. But hey-ho.Based on my experience in this office I would definately use Sixt again.

I rented a car from Sixt at Faro airport. The car was booked through Rentalcars.com and was booked with full insurance. Upon arriving at the desk the lady took my booking confirmation and asked me if I would like to take out insurance on the car. I told her that the car already was fully insured after which she told me that my car only had basic insurance (which only covered damage to a 3rd party vehicle). I asked her if she was sure as I had definitely paid for full insurance (and was stated on my booking confirmation) and she said yes I only had basic insurance.She then informed me that the additional insurance cost would be 21 Euros. Believing I did not have full insurance (and being in a rush) I said that this was fine (price seemed very reasonable) and that she could charge the 21 Euros. Long story short, the 21 Euros was the CHARGE PER DAY (which she completely failed to tell me when she sold me the insurance) and upon returning home after the holiday and checking my booking with Rentalcars.com I confirmed that my car from the very beginning DID in fact have full insurance.I feel completely cheated by SIXT as it was so blatant that I did have insurance (stated in bold capital letters on my confirmation) and yet the lady convinced me that my insurance was not adequate. Therefore for the whole duration of my trip I was DOUBLE INSURED FOR EXACTLY the same thing. She even sold me road side assistance (that she also didn't tell me was a per day charge) which I also already had under my Rentalcars.com booking. SIXT clearly took advantage of me by lying about how my cover with Rentalcars.com was inadequate and got me to pay for their insurance.I have written a complaint to them and have not had a response for 3 weeks now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING SIXT!

We picked up the car on Malaga train station. Got a new Mercedes Smart!We also noticed that most of their cars are in excellent conditions (while returning the car in the airport you can notice)!.When picking up the car, they will try to convince you to get a more expensive car/ more expensive insurance, but just endure the pressure and keep the low price they offered you while booking. Then everything is ok.We've rented multiple times in the past, this was by far our best experience. RECOMMENDED!

As a local industry employee, I was honestly stunned and satisfied by this company. I have had about 6 rental agreements with them in the past 10 months. First, rates are fair and like all prices are seasonal and fluctuate more than any stock. Cars are always clean and reliable. Some examples my past agreements are:BMW 428i Hardtop Convertible - 36.50/dayMercedes Benz GLC 300 - 29.98/day Chevy Impala - 21.30/day*Tips for Customers:You have to research & monitor the fluctuating rental car prices. Once you get a good deal, make sure you read the fine print (This Car or Similar Car in same category). Don't always expect to get the exact car shown in the picture. If you paid good money and truly want a specific car, kindly ask the rental agent or manager. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the car that I really wanted. Completely understandable because they previously offered an elegant car just not what I wanted. **Tips for Location Manager:The Orlando tourism market is growing on a daily basis, low season longer exist. You guys are in dire need of a bigger location, additional employees and many more cars. Corporate needs to know this and take advantage of the market.Will keep renting from here.
