Like so many reviews I had mail from Sainbury's that I was a vulnerable customer (aged nearly 87) but on logging in, site says I'm not vulnerable! When somebody like me actually gets a delivery slot can you let the world know.

Fantastic Service,I cannot fault the service they have provided for my elderly mother as she is in her 80's and has been told she must stay in isolation so I contacted their customer service and they were absolutely fantastic and ensured my mother got a delivery slot within a week - This was in complete contrast to the reaction I got from Tesco that could not give a toss that my mother banks with them has shopped with them for decades but all I got was '' we are looking into helping vulnerable people - but have nothing in place just now '' Anyway for me Sainsbury's get 5 stars and Tesco can forget our custom in the future.

First of all, all of you at Sainsbury's are working very hard to assist your customers, and I wanted to say thank you so much for the huge effort and fantastic service you are providing during these troubled times. Secondly, just a suggestion on online shopping / grocery deliveries and how to improve returns. Considering you are not accepting returns on the doorstep at the moment for 'safety' reason due to the Coronavirus outbreak, I think it would be easier to process returns of substitutions or damaged items online through the Sainsbury's website. Online customers could simply create returns by accessing orders online on their account and select the items they want to return or they are not happy with.This approach to return has been successfully used for a while by online retailers such as Asos and Amazon, offering quick, easy and free returns and refunds of goodsYou are currently experiencing an incredibly high volume of calls and queries due to current global events, returns processed online - 'assistant-free' - will reduce your Call Center’s time in queue and will take pressure off your Customer Care assistants, so to allow them to focus on top priority calls.Just a suggestion, trying to help.

In stark contrast with other, the CEO of Sainsbury, Mike Coupe, has issued statements detailing what they have been doing. People who complain about being unable to contact and are confined to home just need to go to their account page and in the Profile page explain why they need deliveries. I did just that and slots appeared quickly afterwards. i am very satisfied by their response and feel that Mr Coupe is acting very well.Johnjohnep

Sainsburys for the shielded and vulnerable
You have to keep trying, but you can ,with patience, get a slot. I am delighted with my Sainsburys at Hendon London. Deliveries arrive promptly and everything is fresh. It makes life on the shielded vulnerable list much easier and removes the fear of not being able to get things like bread and milk. Thank you Sainsburys and much respect for all the help you are giving to charities.

Sainsbury's are by far my favourite…
Sainsbury's are by far my favourite supermarket. I feel they meet at all ends - Not too expensive but not dirty cheap - i trust the products I buy without feeling like im breaking the bank. My experiences elsewhere are not feeling confident in the products or they are simply too expensive. A lot of people are complaining about the fact there are no click & collect delivery slots...we are in a pandemic so what can you expect, other retailers have more availability because they aren't as popular!!! ;)
