I have now had 3 Sainsbury deliveries…
I have now had 3 Sainsbury deliveries and have just booked a 50p slot for next Weds. The first two went through perfectly. My Saturday delivery did get buggered up (not delvered), and I had trouble getting through (0800 delivery number cut me off) and Customer.service@ generated a response "not read!". But I persisted and found another 0800 no. and other email contacts. Justin at the Sainsbury call centre was very helpful and arranged the delivery 5 hours later. Head office rang me apologetically that evening, and the charge for my order was cancelled (whether on purpose of not I'm not sure). Also I got a bag of goodies I didn't order including toilet paper, 3 X Ritz crackers, etc and was told to keep them. So overall I'm very pleased with them! 5* for customer service, in the end!

I have been using Ocado for home deliveries for a several years…suddenly without warning I am told can no longer get delivery slots despite being over 70 it would seem I am no longer considered a priority being told by customer services that, quite rightly, the most extremely vulnerable should receive priority treatment but (and get this) as well as only their ‘most loyal customers’ (ie those that regularly spend the most money with them). Faced with this problem I approached Sainsbury’s who incidentally I have been shopping with locally in-store for more years than I care to remember ….they couldn’t have been more helpful and now I can happily order home deliveries. I am sure the level of customer satisfaction depends on the store from which the deliveries originate. All I can say is my local store Pallant Way Locksbottom in Kent up to now has been absolutely brilliant….I can’t praise them highly enough… minimum substitutions……punctual…. and very helpful drivers. I look at the bad revues and think that I am writing about a different supermarket. Once this terrible pandemic is a thing of the past I look forward to being able to browse and shop in store once again. Thank you Sainsbury’s

Just wanted to say thank you to Sainsbury’s Preston for our deliveries over this lockdown period. You’ve literally helped to keep me safe by your service. The delivery man this week was Gary who was just lovely. He took time out to ask how we were doing and have a little chat. Great service at a time when that little chat was the only person we’d seen in over a week ! Thanks to all your staff. You’re doing a great job! Xx

Visited the store in West Wickham…disinterested manager
Visited the store in West Wickham (Kent) high Street today, 25th April. The queue for the store was organised and the member of staff at the door was very pleasant.While I was packing my shopping another shopper decided to park his trolley in the aisle and walk through the till I was at, he brushed past me, no social distancing, to get to the plant displays, and then walked back to his trolley through another till passing more people.I highlighted this problem to the manager who was standing at the entrance. When she eventually looked up from her phone she said they plants have to go somewhere’. I explained she was missing the point, it wasn’t about the positioning of the plants it was about the social distancing. She said oh I see. She wasn’t interested at all. Dear Sainsbury’s please put a manager in there that is genuinely interested in the welfare of your shoppers and place her behind the scenes. I’ll take my custom elsewhere from now on.

I've shopped with Sainsbury's for many…
I've shopped with Sainsbury's for many years, the last 3 mostly online and delivery. On the whole I've been very happy with the service I get and the products available. Now, however, during the coronavirus lockdown, the service is terrible. It's impossible to get delivery slots, even though I'm registered as a very vulnerable customer due to medical conditions. Their only means of contacting customer service to discuss my situation and hopefully be given some priority by Sainsbury, is by their telephone number. After a spoken spiel lasting 2-3 minutes, you then get told that they are very busy and the line is cut off.. I've been unable to contact Sainsbury for 3 or 4 weeks now despite trying to phone them many, many times so basically, I can no longer shop there despite Sainsbury being my supermarket of choice.

Sainsbury’s Urmston ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Greeted at the entrance by a staff member, last week was a manager, today a young guy in uniform, both was happy and friendlyand confident In directing customers.Screens have now been placed at self serve tills. Definitely a store that is getting it right and looking after Staff and customers. Certainly makes me feel comfortable shopping Thank you Sainsbury’s Urmston.

Retail Hero's who deserve our grateful thanks
I have shopped at Sainsburys, East Prescot Road store in Liverpool since it opened. My whole experience with them has been very positive. They (the staff)are kind and considerate and because I shop at the same time each week - first thing on a Saturday morning I have got to know many of them by sight. Always get a warm greeting. I have been particularly impressed by their management of the new systems that have had to be adopted due to the present situation. I am however sickened by the moans of some of my fellow customers. These guys are at risk every day. I also wish to compliment Sainsburys bank customer service staff who dealt with my call cancelling Pet insurance on one of my cats. 10 days later I have had a cheque for refund of the unexpired part of the fee.My only issue is that as a vulnerable person I didn't get an e mail because my address with Nectar was not the correct one. I have now set that right but still can't register as a vulnerable person because I didn't get the original e mail and my new e mail address is not recognised. A bit disappointing.
