Two months ago I would have given them 5 stars. I have been an Amazon Prime member for a couple of years now. I have always loved this company and web site.., and then came covid-19!!! I am not complaining about the slower (much slower) shipping... we all have to adjust to aid each other. What I am talking about is their product line & what they have aided Chinese companies in doing. For instance: I wanted to find “hand sanitizer.” If you go to the other well-known ‘brick and mortar’ sites you will find it marked, “Out of stock” and there will be no “cheap” substitutes. Amazon owes it to their customers to maintain some quality control. Instead they are stocking many, very many substitutes that did not exist before. Also, they have allowed the price on “junk” to go through the roof. Read the review, the comments on these outrageously priced & newly appearing Chinese made hand sanitizers. It is absolutely nothing but a rip-off. Amazon should start listing items as “sold out” & stop aiding these companies with no quality control in flooding our markets with overpriced garbage. It is Amazon’s good name that will suffer. We expect Amazon to do at least a little policing of the products they sell, and prices that have quadrupled in a month’s time. I hope the Amazon name will mean as much “post” covid-19 as it did “pre” covid-19!!!

I must say what wonderful customer service I have always received from Amazon.If anything is faulty or not suitable I get a refund straight away.I have had 2 not so good experiences in local shops so it will be Amazon all the way.I also pay £7.99 a month for Amazon prime get free parcels delivered next day.Have films off tv also some kindle books free great deal I think!

For those who read my reviews and articles, know Amazon is normally at the top of my one star raging reviews. Today, I begrudgingly give them five stars, which I almost never do for anyone, especially Amazon, except for today, they deserve it!It's nice to talk with an Amazon Rep, who really follows through on their promises, not just tell you what you want to hear, then do something else!I'm not listing the representative name, as it's not right to risk a person's job for doing the right thing! Several days ago, when replacing my daughter's old GameMax power supply, almost fried her entire $4,000 gaming system I helped her build when she was 9, at no fault of my own. Been building systems since the old 1980s MSDOS days. Basically, GameMax sold many 1050w RGB power supplies with defective sync cables that were sonically sealed incorrectly, and no brushes in the ports to lock the connector onto the motherboard header. This resulted in both the connector sliding off the header, and the pin sockets sliding out of it's case. The connector fell into an open USB Hub which shorted the motherboard and power supply in seconds. Luckily the damage was minimal. This type of short normally kills the motherboard, as it bypasses the safety's. Sadly, the WI-FI card which was plugged into the adjoining USB hub wasn't so lucky and fried. This cost me $52 to replace, and worst, GameMax isn't inside the USA so normally, to get my money back would usually be small claims and Amazon. It didn't even get to that point. Seems I'm not the only one who complained of this problem, and Amazon went beyond what they were required to do, to address the problem. They fully refunded me for both the Wi-Fi card and the power supply too!!! I was only looking for the cost of reimbursement for the WI-FI PCI express USB which was $51.49 to be exact. Instead, they refunded me for both, which was over $200!! They were going to send me a new GameMax as well, but put a stop to that, as what they already did was sufficient enough. I have a box full of 50 cent sync cables, don't need a new power supply just for that when the one they sent was fine, only the cable it came with was bad. They even went as far as posting my warning so others buying that model will be aware of the sync cable issue. Amazon definitely went beyond my expectations with this issue! The company is so large, if you get a rep that doesn't want or know how to help, just call back to speak to another, or if in chat, excuse yourself nicely, and close chat and try again for another. I'm still in awe at today's help I was given. Thanks Amazon!

I buy most of my purchases on amazon these days, around 2-3 times a week. Of course there have been problems but amazon always resolved it.

The best website. Highly recommend it. I bought three things there now. They arrived fast and the items were very good. They have amazing customer support. I highly recommend it. It's the best website I have ever used. Truly a masterpiece.

Decent company Good customer service

I have been an Amazon customer since the mid 90's. I don't expect any company to be 100%. Amazon is so big now they just aren't trying. Kindle software stinks the past year, customer service is unavailable, and no one in charge cares further than the stock price. I was a huge fan. Now I am looking for the competition.

Big shout out to Jimmy Major, an Amazon delivery driver for the Sacramento/Sloughhouse/Rancho Murieta California region. He went above and beyond to overcome his GPS' faulty directions to find my home so that I could receive two packages I really needed during this time of social distancing and self quarantine. Go Jimmy!!!
