Bought a kitchen from here, whilst we had to get all the measurements confirmed and on our heads be it, it was wrong, the service is reflected in the price. Kitchen fitted without bother order 100% complete & delivered.So happy with the end product, its looks perfect. Very happy with the price too.Marked 4 star as would have liked the option to pay for someone from B&Q to do a home visit for measurements.

Received excellent customer service at the Cardiff Gate branch. Placed an order online and I was given full discount despite it being out of stock and me having to collect it from a different branch after the offer had ended.

Having read some of the negative reviews I think a lot of people are being totally unreasonable and have nothing better to do in the current situation than moan and winge. Just stop for a moment and consider the situation not only us as a country are in but the whole world. Yes there is a shortage on things, yes deliveries are taking much longer and yes WE ARE IN A WORLD CRISIS!! Give them a break people, they have stayed open to keep people in work and to give people access to things that may or may not be deemed as essential right now. I’ve wanted fence paint for weeks but could not get it. Eventually it became available online for delivery. So I jumped at the chance. Two days before delivery I had an email thanking me for informing them that I wish to cancel my order and that my refund had been processed. I was a little confused as I had not cancelled my order but could only presume that there stock levels meant that they could not fulfil my order. Tried calling but call centres are closed (completely understandable right now) so I used the online query form. I received a response the next day confirming just what I had thought along with an apology. Refund took 2 days to reach my bank account. Happy days. Paint isn’t an essential item and it can wait to be honest, it was a job to kill boredom as much as anything! So, ask yourselves before ordering: Is it essential? Can I do without for now? And most of allGIVE THEM A BREAK AND BE PATIENT! We are all in the same boat right now. Is it really the end of the world if you don’t get your NON essential items?

I visited the B@q Ring Road branch today, I asked for some assistant's to look at a kitchen sink, a man called Kevin was so helpful he measured the bowls and told me the differences between them and was so patient with me,thank you Kevin much appreciated he even put it in my car for me too,we need more people like you,thank you so much.

I've not had much of a problem with B&Q over the years. Quality of products is usually okay, ordering online seems to work okay, and the staff are helpful whenever I've needed their help.I once bought a mains powered timer which didn't work after I first tried it. I took it back to the returns desk, said it was broken and showed my receipt. The staff member said "Okay, just help yourself to a new one." If she had gone and got one for me that would have earned 5 stars, but no.Also, most of their products are more expensive if you compare like-for-like at other places. Having such a big store near to where I live is handy though.All in all, I will let them have 4 stars, but I will be looking for better deals elsewhere.

SUNDAY 14TH APRIL. DERRIFORD PLYMOUTHMy wife and I needed a piece of light metal to mend an old barbecue. We had the idea as it had been adapted as a rotisserie and, as it worked well we prefer to mend rather that renew. We met one Robert Martin at (Tools hardware) who measured bits and pieces and various prices. The section of metal he sorted needed no cutting at home and we had our next chicken last evening.
