I've gotten underwear and clothing from Torrid in the past (online) and always been pretty happy. It is expensive, but at least it fits my plus-size. I recently bought a bunch of stockings, I wore a brand-new pair last night to dinner. I wasn't doing anything but sitting there, and when I went to the bathroom, I found a long run already starting from my thigh to my knee! Ridiculous!! I was super careful (these weren't cheap!!) but they're still flimsy as hell. I'm afraid to wear the other ones now! Can't we have plus-sizes AND durable? For what we're paying, I think we deserve that!

I've never had a bad experience. I love how you can return items to the store. It makes it very easy to order form home and then if it doesn;t work you take it back in. Seems to save me time and money.

I worked for Torrid for 8 years. Dedicated. I was just fired. Upper management does not care for field employees. So, sorry if the customer service that is pushed on the employees seems fake, but they make our lives miserable. PS....most of the complaints I've read here are about internet ordering and shipping. Solution....shop in store!! The more money spent on line means less is spent in stores. This makes it very hard for the staff to make their goals, hence the bullying from corporate.

I like torrid because of their inclusive sizing, I just wish they weren't so expensive. I feel like they are taking advantage of plus size people because they know plus size clothing is hard to find so they charge more.

I love their clothes it’s so wonderful to actually find items that fit your body type.I always stock up on my leggings because they are so comfortable !

I've only order from Torrid once online. I had only one little problem and customer service was very helpful and fix it right away. I had ordered a Nightmare Before Christmas sweater that was black and white and had Jacks face on it. I had been wanting this sweater for awhile. I ordered it Black Friday of last year 2017. About 3 days late I get an email saying that they took the sweater off my order. I was lost on why they did that. So, I called customer service and ask them what was going on. The girl that help me was lost on why they did that too. She looked into it and figured out that some how the sweater didn't make it into my order so they took it off and refund me the money. She asked if I still wanted it and I said yea. She was happy reordered it for me. She gave me the Black Friday sale price plus another 10% off and made it a two day delivery. I really don't like ordering clothes offline due to I rather try them on in store but closest Torrid to me is in Outlets in San Marcos. Its always hit and miss there at that store. I loved everything I order and I'm grateful for their customer service for helping me out. I love Torrid. I have watch my spending there. My only complaint to Torrid is they are too pricey. I wish they would lower their prices down. Especially on their graphic tee. So of their graphic tees follow apart easily.

I used to love Torrid, however, as the years have gone on it seems they are falling more into the fast fashion trap yet their prices are not reflecting this. Torrid is a great store to find plus size clothes and they often have amazing pieces, but their quality seems to keep declining while their prices remain stagnant or even increase. Looking at their shoes specifically, the quality is atrocious yet they are charging upwards of $70-$100 for them. I will give them credit though, seeing as their activewear is pretty decent and their underwear/intimates are sturdy. I will also say their shipping speed is quite bad, especially for a store with few easily accessible brick and mortar locations. They do have some great, high-quality pieces, but I am noticing more and more that the older items I bought are outlasting the newer ones.

I order from Torrid a lot. My last 2 recent orders there were a lot of problems. I ordered 2 pair of boots on cyber Monday with some clothing. I received the clothing after about 2 weeks but not the boots. I called the customer service and the wait time was awful. The representative was great, she explained that the boots wouldn't be coming because they went out of stock but corporate wasn't cancelling the items or updating the inventory on the website. She cancelled the items for me and placed an order for me of different boots. She honored the sale pricing and free shipping from my previous order and sent in feedback for me to corporate. I then received a $20 egift card from corporate in my email. I still haven't received the 2nd order for my boots but per the tracking email I got I should get them 12/23. I placed another order online with the egift card and another 1 of the items I ordered again hasn't shipped. I called again and it was the same thing, item went out of stock and corporate is slacking on updating stock quantities and website. I don't know what's going wrong with the company lately but they need to fix it very quickly. It's unacceptable. I won't be ordering from them again until well after the holidays.

I have only ordered twice from their website The first time I got a bikini and 2 dresses 1 for a summer wedding 1 for. A fall wedding I loved how they looked online so I thought I'd order it but it didn't look as cute on me as it dis on their model (I got it shipped to buffalo I'm from Ontario Canada) since I didn't like into was able to echa he it for. 2 dresses Ioved the staff at outlet in buffalo were amazing and she helped me find a dress to suit my body type ( heavy top skinny. Middle large hips ) so I went home happy. 3 weeks before the fall wedding the dress I picked out didn't. Fit me I lost some weight(good and bad now I have to find a dress and lost money) I went to my local torrid. Told them what happened and the manager honored it ( I guess it helps that I go in there weekly to see what they have ) I'm typically a size 2 or size 1 I had to get a size 0 in this dress . I am so thankful that the manager let me get a smaller dress I just. Started a new job and didn't want to spend more money for a new dress and I loved the colour of this dress . I'm in LOVE with the Steelers. And have been trying to get the pjs for a couple of years now I managed to convince my loving boyfriend to buy them for Christmas for me the original plan was. That him and I would go back to his home city. Go over to Michigan and grab it. I work in retail and couldn't get time off to go get it I managed to call the location. To tell them I can't get it but his mom will grab it for me and they put her name on it for me the jammies for awesome !And I look cute woo. Double win!

This is my all time favorite store to shop at! I only wish they had more Disney Items in their actual stores and also carried some Short size pants instead of only online. I wish they didn't make some of their t-shirts the 'skinny' fit also because not everyone likes skin tight clothes. I ordered a bathing suit online the beginning of this month and because of everything shutting down it took a little bit they kept in contact when my order would be shipped and then finally arrived.
