Decent meals

I really like their meal prep kits as a convenient form of food delivery service, but over the years the quality of produce has decreased and this has become less a "blue apron" gourmet experience.Choose Hello Fresh if you want easier prep. I learned a lot more about cooking skills from the first several years of the service. This has changed as Blue Apron has become more like its competitors, so would base your choice on meal selection and convenience.

Every meal is delicious. Instructions are easy to follow.On the rare occasion there is an issue, customer support has been perfect. I have used other kits but always come back.

Very convenient way to try new dishes. They include the ingredients and recipe you need to make it at home. My issue is the quality control. Every few months they forget an ingredient in the box. Also, the price Is more than alternative services. Their wine delivery service is cool: slightly smaller bottles and you get to try a new wine. I wish they had a dessert service though I’m not sure how that could work.

Had a bad experience after ordering a meal on their site. Food is great but service is bad.

The amount of options always surprises me! I absolutely love using this service and for any single person looking for an easy at home meal - this is the way to go.

I like the food alot but you must be careful with dishes that give you vingar sometimes you don't need the vinger or you only need a sprinkle not the whole bottle tasty food well portioned delivery is on time and easy to use if your dyslexic or have autsim spectrum like me it was easy for me to follow instructions also I have Serve allgeries to onions and tomatoes if you have food allgeries easy to make dish without allgeriens. Would buy again

After moving to Bay Area, one of my friends recommended Blue Apron and I gave it a try. (I wouldn't have tried it on my own as I am vegan). I am currently blown away with the meals that I have had till date. Would strongly recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend have been getting these every week for over a year and all I can say is wow! Amazing meals. They are consistantly good, even the ones I thought I wouldn't like I always enjoy! They premium meals are worth the money. Who ever comes up with this stuff is a genius. Even if they forget an ingredient (which is rare) they always make up for it with credits for our next order. Great service! Keep it up!

I have used Blue Apron for about 5 years or so. Quality is great. I have had maybe 5 times in five years where I had an issue that they fixed to my satisfaction. We also have sent free boxes to our friends where they actually end up subscribing. I wont say they are perfect, and never had issues but definitely out of the meal delivery services I have tried they are the most consistent.

Blue Apron was the first home delivery service I used and I found it pretty convenient and make our daily cooking more exciting. They have creative recipes and it was fun to learn new things. I took one star off as I wish they had fresh raw veggie options sometimes, like side salad. Also they used to deliver earlier on the day but it started delaying to late evening, around 7-8pm. It’s caused of the carriers and maybe depending on the area you live but I found it inconvenient. I ended up switching to the other home delivery service but Blue Apron was a good option too.

I'm a huge fan of Blue Apron. I have been using this service off and on for several years and have been consistently delighted with the quality, flavor, variety, and ease of making the meals they send. I had gotten in the habit of taking my small family and eating out a lot, because I felt too busy to meal plan, or when I did, something came up and one of the things I'd purchased went to waste. It also seemed like I never had exactly the right consumable items (things like yogurt, ricotta, or lemon juice), or I had to buy produce in quantities that didn't work (like whole heads of cabbage when I only needed one quarter). I did occasionally end up not making a Blue Apron meal because something came up, but a friend had suggested as a best practice to think ahead and throw the meat in the freezer (and even the "knick-knacks" depending on what was included) so nothing went to waste. Later, I could still make it after buying just a few dollars worth of produce. Sometimes I choose not to get deliveries so I can buy ingredients myself and make meals that they've sent before, since I have the recipe cards and they even helpfully explain what is in things like seasoning mix or dressings they send. I recommend Blue Apron for anyone who's interested in becoming a better cook, trying new menu items, feels like they don't have time to menu plan or shop, or wants ideas for how to change up what they already eat. It's also great for helping to get kids involved in cooking, in my experience. My daughter was a selective eater but from our first Blue Apron meal that we made together, she has been excited about their foods and open to trying almost everything they send.

My boyfriend and I have gone back and forth between Blue Apron and another home delivery service and they both seem to have the same problems. Missing ingredients and the quality of the produce or other product. We have had frozen produce, moldy rolls, open containers and mushy product a day of getting the box. The customer service is top notch and as always quick with a response, but the inconvenience becomes an annoyance, which almost cancels the customer service out. Oh and I am getting really tired of Kale and freaking green beans.

I love Blue Apron...just wish they had more low calorie meals!
