Disappointed in Modcloth
I ordered 12/11 and started getting nervous when a tracking code hadn't popped up after 3 days. So I contacted a customer service through their site and was reassured that my order would arrive before Christmas.I finally got the tracking code today, 12/18 and my items will not arrive til AFTER Christmas. It wouldn't be a big deal if they weren't gifts and they hadn't promised any orders before 12/13 were GUARANTEED to arrive BEFORE Christmas.I am really frustrated because if the company had been honest, I wouldn't have to scramble right now due to a problem that could have been easily avoided.UPDATE: The items did arrive on Christmas Eve surprisingly, so they followed through on their promise. So I adjusted the rating experience, thank you Modcloth for the communication and delivering as promised. And thank goodness the post office was open on Christmas Eve.

Excellent company with amazing products
I have no idea why ModCloth has negative reviews at all! I have bought 10+ items and they have all been wonderful, had no shipping issues, and customer service has been extremely useful! They even put together an outfit for me. I went to one of their in-person events and it was awesome. ModCloth is amazing and I recommend it to all ladies :)

I just ordered a couple of swimsuits from an online company - the worst merchandise on the planet - I will never order from anyone but Mod Cloth for my swimsuits again - never had a bad experience with customer service-I belong to a pool club and have recommended them to a few women as I got compliments on my suits

I Don't Understand the Bad Reviews
When I was coming to review ModCloth, I was expecting nothing but good reviews--wow, I for one am quite surprised at all the negativity. I'm not a regular shopper at ModCloth simply because their pieces are pricey, but I recently ordered a dress and I'm very happy! It was shipped the day after I ordered it and it got to me in less than a week, the dress I had ordered looked exactly how it did online and it was in perfect condition and excellent quality. The only thing to complain about ModCloth is that yes, their products are pretty expensive, but you can find a lot of awesome things on sale for a good deal; the dress I bought was originally $80.00 and I got it half off. Seriously, look at their sales!

One of my faves!
Every time I order something from ModCloth, it gets to me fast and I've luckily never had any issues with my orders. Recently saw that they're back to being independently owned as well, which I love to see! I always take advantage of their sales that seem to happen more often each year. Happy to shop from them :)

I was a first time customer so I received a coupon for my first purchase the code wasn't working so I chatted with customer service and were able to help with no problem. I received my shirts and love love them. When i washed the first time per the tag one of them ripped i cintacted customer service again and with no issue they gave me the choice of a full refund or a replacement. The customer service for this company is amazing and the clothes arr great quality

Amazing costumer service! I purchased some boots that were too big. I contacted customer service at 8:30pm and they helped me exchange them quickly and easily. They also shipped my new item for free and included a free shipping label for return of the boots I had! So pleased with how easy and pleasant this experience was. Thank you!

Mixed Feelings
Modcloth does sell some pretty interesting items. VERY cute shoes and great jewelry. However, a great deal can be said for quality and construction.
The shoes frequently fall apart EXTREMELY quickly. Plus, I have never received a single pair of earrings from them that were not broken. They did return them, but that is ridiculous. Granted, they are cheaply made because they are cheaply priced. I get that. Still, I cannot wear a broken earring.
Needless to say, I will continue to shop with them. They need to improve a few things:
1. Improve the shoe quality
2. Check quality of earrings before you send them out
3. Lower some of the prices - prices are just ridiculous on some items!

Security Tag Left on Clothes
Last week I ordered a dress from ModCloth. It came super fast and I was impressed with the shipping time! However, upon arrival I realized that there was a security tag left on the dress. I contacted them that evening (4/3) and two days have passed and I’ve gotten no response. I don’t want to return the dress and reorder it because I got 15% and free shipping. I simply want to send it back, have the security tag removed and have it shipped back to me.Perhaps I made a typo in my email address but I double checked it before submitting my message to them. Regardless, it’s a pain that now I have to either send it back or bring it to a random store and see if they’ll be kind enough to remove the tag for me.
