Made an appointment, payed deposit , got confirmation the night before . Had thing to do with the hitch ect ect .After showing up there and them not having my parts , worse yet NOT CALLING or emailing i was not happy . After calling and talking with manage ment and a bit above management I ended up being given the install fee and hitch fee and there doing the hitch free tmrw . 500 dollars !! I payed a 30$ deposit and with in 3 day they sent me 500 and a new appointment for a free hitch , light wiring and install . I knew there was a reason I always went back to uhaul . Out of 25 years renting there stuff it was the first issue and I’m beyond happy with the out come . A-and apology B-policy reminder for branch staff C- 500 smackers!!

I have recently experienced an ultimate customer service from Uhaul in Los Angeles. In Granada Hills, CA to be specific. I had lost the key to the truck when we have dropped it off. We searched everywhere, for almost 2 hrs we could not find it.Jorge, the man who works at the counter, was with me almost 2 hours trying to find the key.. long story short, he wanted to help me, genuinely. Even though we did not find the key, I have alot of respect for the patience and the care Uhaul took for me.

I had a good experience with Uhaul! I made my reservation online and everything was waiting for me as I'd requested the next day. The instructions for dropoff could have been more clear, but the app gave me the ability to turn the truck in when I was done late at night instead of trying to figure out where I would have kept it for the morning. I'd definitely use again

The Uhaul location on 32nd Street in Yuma, AZ has the best customer service. We had to return a few moving/packing items and received a refund no questions asked. A few minutes after leaving Uhaul contacted us to let us know we had an additional refund owed to us. We so much appreciate their honesty.

We had a storage unit at the U-Haul storage centre in Walnut Grove, BC (96 Avenue). The manager (Denise) was outstanding in her service. My father in law passed away and we were cleaning out the storage unit. I was particularly impressed the way she handled an irate customer ahead of me, who was 3 hours late for his truck pick up and was being rude to Denise. After he left, she dealt with me and was not rattled in anyway by the previous customer. She showed empathy to my situation and was flexible in helping me work through the storage unit. I would highly recommend this storage centre to everyone.

I just had the best experience with Shaunta in customer service renting a U Haul truck for Saturday. I had previously had some trouble online and she was able to straighten things out and get me exactly what I needed and quickly. I would give her the highest score on any customer satisfaction survey. Good job!

On August 8th I had a 15 ft box truck reserved at the Shreveport River front. I was to get it at 10:15. When I arrived the truck was not there. It had not been returned. But I'm not complaining about that. Your agent Holly Wilkerson went above board calling everywhere to find a van. This lady kept her cool and was so compassionate. I knew this wasn't her fault. A van was turned in earlier and she called me to get it. Lots of details happen that day but I did get a van and all because of a wonderful person who helped. Thank you Holly Wilkerson.

I had a good experience. Rented a 20 ft truck for 2 days. Pick up was quick and easy, as was the drop off. It was a bit expensive would be my only negative.Drove 385 miles round trip. Total cost of rental with safe move insurance plus tax was $450. Used about $80 in fuel. Grand total of $530

I truly feel for the people here that have had bad experiences as moving is traumatic enough already. I must say however that my experience with U-Haul has been very good. It’s hard to call a breakdown good but things do break and when I had a trailer breakdown in the middle of nowhere they got me going in record time. This week my friend, moving across country from CA had a breakdown and U-Haul had the contents of her truck professionally unpacked an repackaged into another truck and got her on her way. It’s always better when things don’t break but when or if they do, it’s good to know that you have backup. I always recommend U-Haul to friends.

First the good stuff: The truck was clean and ran fine. When I asked about upgrading to a bigger truck, I was surprised to find that it was actually $85 cheaper! So overall they were much cheaper than Penske, (but Uhaul's guarantee of a truck is not worth anything). See other reviews about that. I had no problems in this respect.The not-so-good-stuff:In this day an age it does not make sense for these trucks to not come with hands free blue tooth telephone connectivity. When one is moving it is likely that there is still significant communication to take care of. I was able with a mini stereo plug-to- plug cable to get sound (of telephone and radio and mapping) to come through the car stereo from the phone, however, when I needed to answer the phone, I had to hold the phone near my mouth to talk, or call the person back and then do that. Hardly safe when driving a big truck one is unfamiliar with.Customer service is pretty useless. Each person I spoke with gave me different incorrect information. One can not know if the truck you want will actually be available, so it is best to make a 2nd reservation with another company like Penske.or Budget They all are cancel-able till the last minute with no fee. Uhaul's app does not work until they actually assign a truck to you the day before your trip. But customer service will tell you it should and direct you to other departments who will tell you of another department to call, who will till tell you that it won't work until the day before your trip after you are scheduled and at that point they will tell you that what you wanted the app for won't work at that location (after hours pick-up.One other detail. They don't give enough miles to get to your house on either end unless you live fairly close to the pick up center.What you should know but they don't tell you. I wanted to make a drop off for Orleans MA. On the website, they offered me $298 off the price if I would deliver it to Hyannis (plus extra miles). But if you chose Hyannis as the drop off location first, no such discount was offered.
