Not too sure what the negative reviews are about. Much better, efficient, intuitive, cheaper than all the big food deliveries! Would recommend to a friend.

As a Uber eats driver in NC I have to say that I do have everything in my power to make sure anyone I deliver to has a good experience. I use a hot bag for hot foods and a col bag for cold food and drinks. I also keep in contact with everyone I deliver to from the time a receive the order until the order is delivered. I send note letting them know I am at the restaurant and getting your food, I'm at the restaurant and your food is not ready and try to give them an idea as to how long it will be, if it's an order I have to place the order and pay for it I let them know when I arrive and how long the expected wait time is and I always ask if they need anything else. I also leave a note on every single food delivery order with a Thank you and or enjoy your meal I want them to know I appreciate their business. I always make sure to get their food to them as fast as I can. The only thing I will say especially in my area is that my customers are horrible tippers ! We do not get paid by Uber we get paid for the delivery and normally that's just a few dollars even if it's a 45 drive to the customer and then we have to drive back, gas for our cars , wear and tear on our cars and the one that drives me crazy is the wait times to pick up food with no extra pay .. so that tip is what we are justifying do that job. I have been tipped as low as 3 cent because they just rounded it up to a even number. You don't have to leave your house, you don't have to stand in line or wait in line in the drive thru, then delivering to apartments up stairs down stairs, you don't have to find somewhere to park.. that's why your tipping.. someone has allowed you to stay home or in office and brought you food. The ones like me who do everything I can to make sure your order is correct hot/cold and you get it fast ... Just tip!

Plain and simple this is another food/grocery courier company and experiences will vary!! - from my perspective the service was as expected if not marginally more expensive and seems to advertise a lesser variety of restaurants/takeaway compared with other similar competitors.I have only used the service once as a result of a £10 discount offer for first time orders (which was much appreciated) although it didn’t apply a noticeable difference to my overall subtotal compared with other couriers due to add on charges (delivery charges and a service charge) which quickly accounted to a medium percentage of the £10 discount.I have noticed from my only order that their is a pitch for tips on behalf of the driver (at the time of order) although a reasonable deliver charge has already been applied. After a week of my order I was invited to complete a review of the restaurant via the ‘Uber Eats’ app and was once again encouraged to consider a tip for the driver! Whilst the service was as expected I simply don’t feel the need for being chased for a tip more than once particularly when I feel as a customer I have already paid for that particular service. This is the only courier company in my experience that does this and it is an off putting trait! Although this is an encouraging employee based incentive by the company......Please find a secondary or alternative way of portraying gratitude to your staff other than consistent/repeated reliance on customer good will (via a tip)! Would I use the service again - yes although unlikely! As would be ranked third or fourth on my list against similar competitors unless a discount was available.

I am an Uber Eats driver with 100% satisfaction rating. Here in Houston we do usually very well with the app, I also have UE delivered to myself on a regular basis so I have experienced some of the issues from the perspective of a customer. Here are some tips on how to be successful with food delivery. 1. You absolutely need to order from a restaurant where the people CARE about the customers and in particular the delivery customers.Frequently this will be a situation where there is an OWNER on site and I am going to name some names - Bawachi Biryani Point owner Francis, Peri Peri Factory Owner Ali to only name 2, food always ready promptly and everything just right - very happy clients. There are many others. BUT - there are also some that are VERY bad - I have to check everything, you can tell the workers are underpaid and do not care. GET THIS - at SOME of the bad restaurants - the little teenagers PURPOSELY screw up the orders to get a bad rep so customers will not order from there.When this happens it is NOT the fault of the platform and UE cannot be held responsible if the RESTAURANT does not do their job.If the presentation is good then the bag will be sealed and the driver cannot see inside to check everything. I have had many times I can tell it should weigh more and confront the staff and find out some is missing. Having said that I will mention 4 instances where I as a customer did not get all the order and how I successfully handled it.In each case , we are talking 4 out of 40 deliveries. I called the restaurant, got the manager, explained I was missing an item. At PF Changs I drove in there the next day and got the item, the manager was pretty cavalier and said " Oh, I'm sorry we were so busy" I had a few polite words with him but oh well, I love their food and have not had a prob since. Katz Deli -BEST Reuben in the world but they forgot the cole slaw. Called the manager Dante and made a deal with him that in a week when I ordered another Reuben he would give me double cole slaw. A week later he gave me a TON of cole slaw in the delivery. Same with Max's Wine Dive and Jose. They gave me extra gravy but..forgot the mashed potatoes, he was horrified and in a few days when I order their AWESOME crispy deviled eggs he will personally make sure I get my mashed potatoes and he is threatening to send a truckload of mashed p. lol which I told him he did not have to do.But...here is what happened at starbucks - i was homebound after Imelda and the drinks were perfect but "Harley" did not put my sandwhich in there. I had to tip the driver $10 to go back and get something else. I asked to her to confront the barrister and she did and he said " Uber didn't train me" LOL!!!!! Well, just a few days ago I was doing a delivery there and I said " I want to meet Harley" so Harley comes over and I wanted to go off on him committing fraud on me but I was very polite i said relayed and reminded him of the incident and said " Harley just remember that you guys CHARGE the client for the sandwhich and it's very hurtful to staple the bag shut without it and not tell the driver or the client. " He looked at me as if I was an alien from outerspace. So I will not be ordering from them again. Again, Uber cannot do anything about employees who do not care - we as customers have to be proactive in this regard. I am sorry to say that many fast food places do not care and you guessed it - McD has a very bad rep. Chick fil A is GREAT! Now, about being proactive in your own delivery - my friend DAVE made a comment which was funny, he said - why do all these clinets call uber and then HIDE from Uber? lol The app says "time to meet sharon outside" when I am 1 minute away. You have no idea how much it helps the driver if you are outside waving at them. Especially if you live in a large complex. If you put a message "wait in car" and take a little extra time to find them - you know where you live lol! you will get your food faster. more to come

Uber Eats is only as good as your local restaurants, but it keeps decent client service. Whenever something goes wrong - they do what's needed to make you happy. Plenty negative comments here (hungry=angry) but why bother when it is good. This is the best food delivery service in UK (not just my opinion - check app shops). Restaurants are failing sometimes but UE is really on your side. I strongly recommend UE for every person at least half as lazy as I am.

Hm, quite surprising it is to see so many bad reviews here... Maybe it depends on the country or something, unclear. Well, as for me, I have had only positive experience with UberEats so far - in Brazil, Switzerland and Uruguay, especially in cases when a restaurant misses my instructions (e.g. no sauce, no onion) or when a delivery driver brings a smashed pile instead of a pizza. It has been always a pretty quick turnaround and a full refund from UberEats unlike pain-in-one-place experiences I have had dealing with other/local deliveries or directly with restaurants.
