Straight Talk Student Discount April 2024

I bought Straight Talk on January 2019. Haven't have any issues since. The monthly plan they offer are cheaper than postpaid phone monthly plan. After all, ST is a prepaid phone with no credit check and no contact which is reason why I pick this service. Reliable signal service that never got down onto me once. The only bad is customer service reps.

Straight talk is pritty good no problem with everything worse ok but is nearly impossible to log in to your straight talk account to access your rewards I apparently have alot of rewards racked up as I have been a costomer of straight talk for over 6 years when I log in to my account it always ses were having difficulty loading this page we are working on this. Then I call costomer servace and it takes forever to speak to a live person finally when I do get ahold of someone they say you can only use your rewards thrue your acount I try explaining I cant access my acount and they kneed to fix their rewards page and ask how much points I have and they keep saying go to your acount moast of the representation are not english speaking I have no problem with that but they dont understand what I'm saying and keep repeating I'm sorry your having this problem if you go to your acount youl be able to access your awards finily I give up. I dont enroll in auto refills because apparently you get more rewards doing that but what's the point if I cant use them.

Buyer's Beware, I worked with this company for nine years, or more, I had minor problems with STRAIGHT TALK yet nothing like the foolishness that I have been going through for the past couple of months. I feel like I am in a night mare that I can't awake from. For starters, I had both home service, and cellular service with STRAIGHT TALK. I called "customer care" (LOL) (which they could careless), to discuss a problem that I was having with my cellular, I spoke to at the very least three CC representatives before I could understand what the ham baloney they were talking about. Two of the reps. could bearly speak English and the third started the conversation with a threat, "I was told that you are having a problem with your service, well don't worry, I am going to fix that for you!" Well what she should have said, "I am going to fix you", bc by the end of the conversation not only did she tamper horribly with my cellular phone, but the next day, my home phone was unusable! Not to mention, the day after they removed monies out of my bank account both phones were unusable. The second CC rep, informed me that I was given a "DEFECTIVE" phone number, (whatever that meant) Anywho, I have contacted Better Business Bureau, Small Claims Court and all my followers on FB. I have been through hell and back and still have not gotten this foolishness settled. Last but not least, Straight Talk is so pressed to take our money and give us a headache that they are so "PETTY" that after being served court papers, they tried to get the court system to allow them to handle the complaint over the telephone as apose to spending money to bring this "PETTY" company to DC (from Florida) to handle the case. Thank God the court system would not allow them to do mediation over the phone. Now the initial complaint was filed in August, and I still have not had my day in court. BUYERS BEWARE! If you have money to throw away contract STRAIGHT TALK for either home phone service or cellular phone service and that is exactly what you would be doing, THROWING AWAY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! I can not say this enough, "BUYERS BEWARE! And that is all that I am going to say about STRAIGHT TALK! DO NOT USE STRAIGHT TALK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

I was approved for EBB and I have straight talk I'm trying too find out how too put it on my straight talk service and keep my phone number I have had for over 3 years and I dont know what too do straight talk says I'm not approved for it on their side but on the government website I'm fully signed up and the approved me I get snap so I'm waiting on a call back from straight talk in the morning I really hope I can get this taking care of I need my phone TURNED back on I'm only a week and half late on paying my service this month been having trouble affording my service I haven't received my stimulus check yet and had too put a trace on my check because they deposited my stimulus in too a bank account I have never had nor do I have a bank account they mailed my last too and irs messed up my 3rd with some bank account they deposited my 1400 into that account I have no idea who or why they did this I never provided and bank info because I dont have any bank accounts and I updated non filer app with address info only

I've had a few prepaid services, and this one has been the best! I get AT&T towers at a fixed no surprise unlimited monthly rate, and I can bring my own phone. I like that they add more data to the basic plans periodically, without raising the price. Good service at a fair price, with no surprises.

I talked to one of the lady's that works here and she did a great job helping me with my changing my service to my other phone and helping me keep my old phone number and I just want to say thank you to her and keep up the good work there should be more people like her that work there she really helped me out with my number so I can keep it for my job

i like the service. it works in my area pretty good and i can bring my own phone. customer service is unreliable so i try to avoid calling them if i can. I cant sign up for the rewards and they wont help me they just told me to call if i want to find out my point balance since i cant get access to it on the app

I lost my phone number because I lost my actual phone. Was concerns I could not get reconnected. Met a gentleman from straight talk by the name of William at the Walmart in Kissimmee Florida. Came in told him my concerns he took the time to call tech support and get me all straightened out. Very professional very patient highly recommend

Last night I wrote a really nasty review about Straight Talk. Without going into details I found out this afternoon that the problem was actually on my end, not theirs. I hope not too many people read it. I want to apologize to the Straight Talk reps who were very kind and respectful with me on the phone, I should have done my homework before posting. I also filed a BBB complaint. As soon as I hit the send button I'm going to see if it can be deleted. It's not supposed to be acted upon until Monday or Tuesday. I really don't have anger issues but the way I felt my problem was being handled was just a bit too much. Obviously I didn't have all the pertinent facts. I also learned that it's better to sleep on a problem instead of staying up until 3am to contact the Better Business Bureau.

Very disappointed in the shipping of my new phone ordered it on the 24th paid for next day shipping after it’s shipped, well they waited until like Saturday to ship it and still in Kentucky so prolly tue when it gets here. Next time will do just standard. Very disappointed.
