To all those who are upset over the refund issues, I have a good news for you. I have booked tickets in May 21 and got refund in July 21. So it is almost like less than 2 months. My advice is to send a written complaint to Oman civil aviation authority, also try chargeback from the credit card(assumed that you used the same for purchase of tickets). Wish you all good luck.

I flew with Oman Air to Thailand and there services absolutely outstanding staff and food all very good clean and really helpful...i would recommend that company to anyone want fly with Oman Air ...

Just flown return from Manchester to Bangkok with Oman Air. Two of the four flights were delayed by a few minutes but everything went smoothly and all the aircraft were brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The menus were a bit hit and miss and they did run out of a couple of things. Overall, for the price, the service was good and there was no hanging about between connecting flights like with other airlines. Flights were full in Economy but not many travel business class with this company from what I could see. Would use them again.

I fortunately did not have the dreadful experience many travelers have. The flight was on time, and they did not lose my luggage. I flew business class from Manchester to Bangkok, and the return flight was from Colombo, Srilanka. The staff on the first flight were great, although the food was awful. The seats on the Dreamliner are very comfortable, especially the window seats. There was a good selection of films and other entertainment. The only fluid was a welcome drink and a small bottle of water, and a drink with the meal- not much for such a long flight. The airport lounge facilities in Manchester and Colombo were rubbish, but good in Muscat , the hub of Oman air. On the way back, the food was better, still no drinks, unless you call the staff for them (which they clearly did not like)! True, the flight is cheaper, and at a better time of day, but I would not choose Oman air again .Emirates are much better, and their customer service is excellent.

Seats were comfy, meals were a bit drab but there was booze included to make up for it. Staff amicable.

I flew Oman business class from Manchester to Bangkok in February.The service and food was excellent. All flights were on time and my only regret was that we only had a few minutes to enjoy the lounge at Muscat on the outward and return flight.The seats relined to a horizontal position. The entertainment was adequate. the flight attendants were very attentive and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble.I would not hesitate to fly with them again.

Good airline with good service. Heard people complaining about refunds. In my case the stuff was very kind and helped me change my tickets even on late notice.

I had my 2-week vacation in Lahore, Pakistan scheduled with Oman Air. On our flight to LHE, it was smooth, everything was on time. The food is not really bad or good, but it will suffice the hungry traveller.Cabin crew are a little timid at their service. Since, I am a Filipino where our flight crew would smile through out, may be I'm not just used to not seeing people smile. Tell me if you don't see a Filipino cabin crew never smiles at you.My ticket was booked with six-hour layover (the cheapest) so I couldn't do anything about it. In relation to MCT airport, it was nice, a little crowded on the middle, but when you go deep through gates you will find quiet places and FREE lounges.TIP: If you know that you have long layover in MCT airport, I suggest that you don't enter first on the departure area. There are lots of couches (like bed) before the transfer gate, which are more comfortable than inside the departure area. Stay on the transfer area for a while, it's quiet and not crowded.Going back, on our way to land to LHE, there was a little problem, fog, we were more than an hour rounding on the sky waiting to for it to clear the airport. I don't take it as negative because it's nature and for safety.My luggage were properly handled and delivered.Over all, it was good.
