I booked a holiday to Malaga as a surprise "last minute" birthday present for my husband with last minute.com. l didn't think of reading reviews about them until 3am the next day after booking it. Can honestly say was horrified with the poor ratings and l expected the worst. However, l can only give my honest opinion and say they really came up trumps. Their website is clear, confirmation emails were promoted and the hotel room was just lovely. Being nosey l even asked to see other rooms and they weren't near as good as the one we were allocated. One of our best holidays to date. Thanks last minute.com and try to keep up the good work.

Hassle-free hotel booking

Booked a Travelodge at this site for a much better rate than offered elsewhere. Since I hadn't heard of LMT before I phoned the hotel today to check that the reservation had been made and they confirmed everything is in order.Based on that, I'm happy to recommend them.

Quick resolution (Fraud)

Update, the situation was quickly solved and I have received the money back.I have used this site in the past and so I will continue to use even though there has been this problem, which has been solved.Fraud, they took my money without a reservation (the hotel reservation failed because the credit card was refused, but they took the money anyway, how this is possible!!!)

Props to Salma!

I was shocked to see all of the terrible reviews after a smooth experience in booking (and subsequently cancelling) a hotel.Finding the hotel and checking out with LMT through Google was much easier than navigating the cluttered websites of the Big Ones in the industry. They also gave me a discount for my Google One membership (no other service seemed to offer this discount, so that was a pleasant bonus). My only complaint is that it didn't offer much information about the room itself, just "standard" or "suite". That may have been Google's issue, though.As mentioned, I unfortunately had to cancel the hotel reservation, but Salma (the representative who assisted me when I called LMT's customer assistance line) was incredibly nice and processed my request efficiently and professionally. Thank you Salma!
