I write this to offer a glimmer of hope to so many customers on here who have lost a lot of money and suffered a great deal of stress in these very difficult times. A group of 5 of us booked an ATOL protected package to France (flight/hotels/transfers) for mid September via Lastminute in Feb this year. As the months passed we were all very concerned about going, and extremely worried that we could not make contact with Lastminute via phone or email to change the booking. On 31 July Lastminute emailed to say the flights (EasyJet) had been cancelled and they were unable to offer an alternative. As such they were cancelling the entire booking and they would deal with all suppliers. At that point we feared we would never see our money again, having paid over £3K of a £4K total. Anyway, we followed the process, such as it is, responding to their refund options when they were provided. But we were still very alarmed at the lack of ability to contact them with queries we had - particularly when on the day we were due to fly out we got a call from the airport transfer company asking where we were!! But today we received our refund in full, to the penny. So from advice of cancellation to full refund, just under 10 weeks. I wish I could advise something specific we did to be successful, after reading the truly awful experiences of so many people on here. Would we use Lastminute again? Absolutely not, it is way too stressful. In future, whenever we feel it is safe enough to fly overseas again, we will book direct or with a recognised holiday company. Good luck everyone. You are entitled to full refunds. I really hope you all get them.

Lastminute.com really easy to find and book with,page lay out good and easy to navigate. Will definitely use again and recommend.

In spite of us providing the correct date of birth for our daughter who is twelve, Lastminute.com have added her as an adult on Ryanair, so we could not check her in. Currently in a queue of 450 people with online Ryanair customer services waiting to change passenger information due to their error. And lastminute.com's telephone number is non-operational "due to Covid".

Booking the flights and hotel was straightforward and our holiday went smoothly. Although building work was ongoing, the hotel was comfortable and value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good service although pity we couldn't book in on line with airline

The return transfer to the airport didn’t show up and nobody was answering the phone. We paid a lot of money for airport transfer and had to pay again for a taxi. The hotel was okay but the bathroom was very smelly and shower wouldn’t remain a constant temperature. We still had a good holiday but overall it was overpriced for what we got.
