I've booked flights and rentals with CheapOAir for the last 2 years, and I have nothing negative to say about them at all, period. I'm sorry for everyone who's had a negative experience with this agency, but I'm positively beaming about a certain situation that just unfolded and I'm very pleased with how CheapOAir handled it and didn't try to charge me anything extra for it, although I had fully expected them to charge me and I was prepared to pay for it if necessary. So the situation was this: I booked a domestic departure flight with them omitting my middle name, which is included on my DL, and later realized the error, and contacted them to correct it. They submitted the changes to the airline and told me to contact the airline before my departure to make sure there were no hassles and hangups at TSA. I wasn't satisfied with that because it seemed too easy. I contacted another booking agency the same day, Lookbyfare, to request the same change for a return flight that I'd booked with them and they told me that it would cost $149 to change my name because they needed to reissue the tickets, and assured me that if the name on my ticket did not match the name on my DL, I would not be allowed to fly. I was distraught and confused, but I forked over $149 anyway. In the meantime, I contacted CheapOAir again to get confirmation of my name change because I was flustered and confused at how differently this was handled by Lookbyfare, and was reassured by an agent at CheapOAir that because my flight was domestic, I did NOT need to add my middle name, but to still get in contact with the airline before my departure. They seemed to be knowledgeable about this, and they were, in my humble opinion, very fair and honest with me and did not hustle me the way Lookbyfare did. I did speak with a manager at Lookbyfare regarding this matter, and it was of no use. Was I taken advantage of and lied to by Lookbyfare? Possibly...and I will not be using them again. CheapOAir, on the other hand, is an agency that I am happy to continue using and will recommend them to others.

UPDATE (19/05/2020)So today I received the refund of $35 which was the cancellation fee. Still awaiting the ticket refund. Refund status shows it is in the process. I will update my review accordingly in the future. Thank You UPDATE (15/05/2020): So today, I was contacted by a female officer about the problem I had with the full refund. I had to cancel my booking because the flight has been cancelled but they charged me an extra $35 for cancelling fees, plus the credit was put on future hold which I didn't choose. So, this lady said that she will refund me the full amount and the cancellation fees of $35. Though I trust what the lady said, I will still wait for the full refund to show up back to my credit card before I close this review. Thank you officer! Initial Review (12/05/2020)So I had to cancel my booking (Using CheapOair Online form) as the flight was cancelled by the airline, but they charged me an extra $35 as cancellation fees, and they put my reservation on a future hold for credit! They are going to charge me again if I'm gonna rebook or reschedule with the credits. I tried to contact them many times but they are saying that I have to contact the airline for a refund. The airline verified that I'm eligible for a full refund with no extra cost and agent will have to arrange the refund for me. CheapOair is a SCAMMER. They will do anything to steal your money. DON'T USE IT TO BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS.

I had purchased my tickets after a few days I wanted to change my tickets days of travel,which was so good and professionally handled the travel agent in a timely manner. They treat customers very well I love there services.

At first I was booking online through CheapOAir. Then I had a question about their extra premium charges which was not clear online. I called the customer service number. The rep was very helpful and gave me all the options available and answered my questions. Also received discount. Booked my flight efficiently. Again, received a call back the next day saying the price has dropped for same iteneriary. So I will receiving the refund. I would recommend CheapOAir.

Again today CheapOair agents performed 100% to meet my needs. I had purchased an itenerary through them on line for a family event that was canceled due to Covid. They worked with me to exchange those tickets at no cost at all to me.
