Second family holiday with my 2 year old previously went to a haven, stayed I. Basic accommodation and had the basic food packaged and expected the worst, arrived to a clean room with limited room but nothing less than you'd get in a hotel, the food was a buffet style and had a good choice and was tasty so couldn't complain and all the staff were friendlyThe shows were entertaining and my child loved them, I have to say a special mention to a young girl on the photo sales Booth who our receipt said it was a 'Craig b' but she mentioned she was new but didn't catch her name, she was friendly and showed a genuine interest into hie out hokiday went, booked to return next year to upgraded accommodation and sure mytoddler will enjoy this

Went to Butlins Minehead with our friends, a total of 4 adults, 5 children and a baby.Accomodation was clean and adequate, food was good and staff were friendly and helpful.Facilities were great and we will definitely be back next year.

Holiday was great at butlins minehead. But brown water coming out of bath room taps, also had a shower nearly flooded because the people who had used it before us filled it with sand, twice we had to get the plumber

Staying at Minehead in the cheapest chalet you can get. I would say that it's not the best in many ways but a upgrade to sleeping in a tent. The one room carpets are always dirty and smell regardless of what one you stay in. The bed mattress are not comfortable and the duvet, well I thrown out better at home. The bathroom needs a good disfendent spray before use and again not the best. The flooring let's these chalet s down. The shop onsite is expensive so cheaper go across road to Tesco. The extras like snooker, crazy golf and breathing in fresh air all these in my younger years were free at butlins are now costly. Redcoats are excellent you can not fault them at all the highest standard in customer care. Don't bother asking cleaning staff when arriving where to go as they just arrived in the UK and at a loss themselves. All they will do is point in direction of the sea and sort of say you go there. Watch out for adults and kids on the peddle buggy especially the drunk adults that are making their way to the next drinking venue. There not much going on the green mainly just kids that been left by parents fed up being ask for another ten pounds to go somewhere. The circus was good but not the Greatest Show as advertised. To make that clearer I was expecting the lady with a beard to sing but realise Mrs Butts from Southampton over dubbed her video with the greatest show soundtrack on YouTube. Once I realized there be no animals and a cage with mopeds in I enjoy it. Entertainment is good or bad at times the worse can improve by another visit to the bar. Overall it's a cheap holiday if you get a good price

Was ok if your staying for a few days. We stayed for a week but left two days early as the entertainment was re-showed after a few days. Food is very expensive, we went to one restaurant it was worse then hospital food no taste and cheap, drink choice is coffee,tea, water or juice but for the price of £17 per person. Big rip off!! The only good thing I can say is the rooms are nice and clean but was disappointing we didn't have a kitchen.

Upon arrival we found hair and shower gel in the shower tray, which clearly shown the shower had not been cleaned. There was also toothpaste stuck all over the sink, and also crumbs on the sides in the kitchen and all over the cooker. Very disappointed to arrive to this.

Went for WWE event it was a great weekend and the guy running the archery think his name was Ross he did a great job will definitely book again

As a child we visited butlins often. It is awesome as a child - for an adult, you'll want a break to recover! It's very full on for the kids. We opted to stay in the Shoreline hotel with a buffet meal. The food was nice and hot. However, upon asking about allergies as my son has two allergies the staff didn't really understand. I simply could allow my son to eat from the buffet as other parents and children had cross contaminated the utensils. My sons food was freshly made but somehow still managed to react so severely that we ended up in A&E due to anaphylaxis. This put a real downer on the rest of our stay. We had to spend extra money to provide safe foods for our son, as well him being very unwell for the rest of the duration. There was no on site medical staff for the interim of my sons anaphylaxis and we simply had a first aider say "yep that's a reaction"... we had to call 999 as the staff was more panicked than us. Such a shame. Sadly we will never return.
