Great airport!
Great airport to travel through and good variety of shops and restaurants airside! Both terminals have plenty of seating area and quiet areas also!Gates aren’t too far to walk to with a good amount of travelators to help you if you struggle walking long distances with the always friendly special assistance teams on hand if you require the extra help!

The airport staff are friendly and do really go out of their way to help you. I didn’t know where the bus stop stands for renting a car was and was in wrong stand and they told me this was the wrong place or IWould of been waiting hours. Thank you

Great airport buy can be really busy.Duty free shops are pricy, if your going to Spain and your a smoker, it's cheaper to buy them on arrival.Been using Gatwick since the late 80's and I think I've flown over 250 times from there !

Could not fault the service at Gatwick
We recently flew from Gatwick to Orlando and back again. The airport was extremely efficient. Minimal queues at security. Extremely fast electronic customs checks and baggage was at the carousel within minutes of us getting to it. Could not fault the service at this airport.

Friendly helpful staff
I managed to leave my bag in the collection hall, completely stupid of me but I was distracted at the time booking trains and nursing a shoulder injury so trying to fix my ruck sack on so it was comfortable. My husband got both bags from the belt and I thought he still had both, but he didn’t have mine. The baggage came through very quickly and it all seemed to be running very fast and smooth. However, as soon as we’d got through the security doors it downed on me that I somehow felt more free; obviously no bag to wheel. As distraught as anyone could be, it happens that easyJet scanned the tag, then called me arranging to meet, Ellie a Gatwick Airport staff member at the doors with my bag. I couldn’t believe how helpful the staff had been all round. Including the ISS cleaner who took me to the easyJet service desk Thank you a million for your help. No drama, no crisis just Ellie smiling from ear to ear. Thanks again. NB not a good ides to leave your bag, usually it’s a next day collection which would have been almost impossible for me, and very costly.

Gatwick airport
Out of all the airports I have been to gatwick is the most easiest in London . They have a special assistance desk when my family got lanyards . The only think I didn't like was the entrance to security were you had to use your boarding pass to get through to the security . However they wouldn't let us use the bigger lane which is meant to be special assistance because it was for push chairs only . We still had assistance thou as we went through . My bag got pulled a side because my Kindle was at the bottom of my bag and my autistic brother was made to go through the scanner his self he is 7 years old with out and adult . In the departure area there was loads of shops but drinks were they expensive . Boarding was good we got to the area and boarded and then took of .Arriving at the airport was okay the passport control was busy however because we had a family we didn't had to use the e gates . Luggage came of quick and the valet parking was good to .

Gatwick is by far the fastest London airport
I travel several times a month and Gatwick airport is by far the best London airport. They are better than anyone to manage capacity challenges and waiting times going through security (leaving and returning) is generally always very smooth. Well done

Can u believe the enforment officers…
Can u believe the enforment officers will take all your cigarettes - with no leniance on how much you are actually entitled to, quoting that there are signs in the airport to how much u are allowed to bring back. I was not hiding the fact that I had 3x over my limit but the lady in agadir advised me that every1 was bringing back 750grmz to England, I asked are you sure N she convinced me to buy more! - as there was a special offer on the larger amount. Only for it all to get confiscated. I pleaded for how much I am entitled to- to be given back to me, but he was none caRing _says they burn them. Well I know the English stupid but burn how many millions of people good money on cigarettes, well that really says it all. If he said they will resale them and the government pocketed and recircle our money back I to public sector - >it would go down better. Ps. I will do a review for agadir duty free as well. She working with custom.

Currently sitting in Gatwick and I must say I have seen some improvement. Security area is much more efficient now with little waiting time. I see you now have one of those duty free areas like many airports where you have to walk through to get to the main lounge. It felt friendly and not too obnoxious.

Refreshing Surprise
Flew from Gatwick Thursday 7th June and here's what I found. Helpful staff in abundance dealing efficiently with a large volume of passengers and managing to keep stress levels at an absolute minimum. Staff were smiling, some were joking, and the notorious landside to airside security nightmare normally associated with busy airports was as pain free as I can recall in years. Well done to Gatwick airport authorities as it is plain to see you are trying to take the sting out of the most horrible part of modern air travel and as far as I could see you are succeeding.

I enjoy using this airport
I enjoy using this airport, it’s always easy to transit to and through although I find the new shopping route after customs quite annoying and I would prefer a route available to avoid having to walk through it all
