I've lost 17 pounds on NutriSystem. I've struggled with my weight for several years and have trouble sticking to diets. The small portions have changed my approach to food and I realize that I don't need to overeat to be satisfied. Adding plenty of vegetables to your diet helps. I find the food absolutely delicious! Yes it is very small, but that's what it takes to lose weight! You will adjust.

Nutrisystem is a rip off. I cancelled the program after two weeks and was charged $125. I only had 13 pounds to lose and wanted to make sure that I was not shipped another month of the crap they originally sent me. I lost 12 pounds in two weeks as I expected. What I didn’t expect was a $125 charge. I called and they said it was a part of my package but they said it was in the fine print If you don’t need to lose more than 15 pounds go to Jenny Craig. There is no cancellation charge and the food is better

I was shipped a womens plan even though the order taker knew with whom he was speaking. I was told this plan colst less because it has fewer snacks. They offered to change myu next shipment to a mans plan at a higher cost. No adjustment possible,

I had a problem with FedEx delivery previously but that has been straightened out. I purchased my food outside the Nutrisystem company at a huge discount & ordered a 6 months supply of food~~2 basic plans & 4 unique plans. I did do the Nutrisystem diet years ago with great results~~I even did a newspaper ad for them as well as radio ads. I'm not a picky eater & I love the food choices. If you are truly devoted to losing weight this is a plan that really works. I've lost over 10 pounds so far in less than 2 weeks. I know I can reach my goal with the 6 months of food I have in stock. I would recommend the Nutrisystem diet to anyone who is truly devoted to losing those extra pounds.

Orders came on time and husband and I have done a great job being committed to the diet plan. Food is acceptable with our own salads and veggies. After 2nd order arrived, we felt happy about our progress and knew we were going to cancel at this point. I talked with a man who asked how it was working for us. I complimented the program and he gave a selling talk to continue but but I told him no thanks, his tone immediately changed and he gave me a confirmation number, said to stay on for a survey and hung up. Very friendly to very cold. Made my positive feelings about the company go a little sour. His "caring" about our transition back to normal food went right down the drain.

I've been on Nutrisystem 2 times. I lost weight both times, but failed to keep it off. After about 4 months the food begins to taste like cardboard. And to make matters worse it seemed to me the foods I really liked were being discontinued at a high rate. However the primary reason I quit the second time was a result of dishonest pricing policy. I had been paying in the $350/mo range when I stopped, and I got an offer to go to $289/mo. I reupped. And yes I checked it out. There was nothing on the card saying one month only, and I even called and talked to a rep who told that this was going to be my new rate that you continue. The first month was fine, and I went on to prepay for the second month, and I noticed the price to be $495/mo. I called and they me the story of one month only which totally contradicted the previous call. I just told them to cancel me when it got shouting bad on the phone when they told me they would charge my credit card anyway. They didn't but they lost a good customer.

I did not have a problem with the 20 vs 28 day plan. The website is clear about the different options and prices they have. I spent a few moments looking at all the options and picked the 28-day plan. Regarding the quality of food, I set my expectations pretty low. It is definitely not the best but I am willing to sacrifice a little to get results. However, it is the end of my fourth day and I am starving!!! There is no evening snack and I can eat so much vegetables. I can’t fall asleep because I am so hungry. I might be able to stick to it if I finish the first week.

It is convenient, but with that being said, I decided that I didn't want to do it anymore, I tried to cancel, but they suggested that I put the program on hold. I did. I was told I had until 12/27 to call back. On 12/25 my card was charged for another shipment. I called to cancel and tell them to get the charge off of my card. What a hassle. They kept trying to talk me into it and tried to make me feel guilty. She actually asked me why I felt like I didn't have to lose more weight!I would really have to think hard about trying this again!

I have been on and off Nutrisystem for 27 years. I always come back to it when I've found my weight creeping up again as it always works, even now after the kids are grown and the onset of menopause. I've been reading all these complaints and feel they are completely unjustified. If you read everything you will see they have several programs to choose from. Their most popular is the 20 days of food and the other "flex days". Yes - this is different from their normal program of a few years ago but they do make it clear. Heck you can just count the meals you are getting and if don't want to order, don't order!! You can also make the choice of doing a full 28 day program. Their food is really very good and of course there are some items I'm not completely fond of but nothing inedible. If you get creative and add spices, veggies, and such you can make everything taste even better. Most of these complaints are from those that aren't reading the whole program through. When you are spending you're money, know exactly what you are spending it on and don't blame the company when you are not reading everything. You are being "duped".

I had a set of twin in 2018. Suffer a hypothyroidism ( hard to lose the weight) . I wanted to just loss the baby weight. I started this system Nov 15th 2019. Thinking I would be happy if I lost 5-8 lbs . I haven’t been on the system 30 days yet . I’m down 16lbs and tons of inches all over. I didn’t go to the gym one time . I ate the food that is color coded, added my vegetables twice a day ! That’s it !!! I couldn’t be happier. This system really works .

Commercial talks about 50% off. Misleading. Plans say they are for 4 weeks. Misleading. Only receive 20 days. They expect you to flex 8 servings of your meals and snack in those 4 weeks. That should be later for maintenance not at the beginning for weight loss. I ordered a few years ago and received 28 days meals and snack. Now for the same price you receive 8 less days of meals and snacks. How deceiving and misleading. I am disappointed in Nutrisystem and myself for not spending more time to figure out their racket.

So far so good! Had some follow up questions and spoke initially to the rudest person I’d ever spoken with. I asked to speak to someone else and she disconnected the call. Nutrisystem, you say the calls are recorded - please go back and listen! On a more positive note I called back and spoke with Lenny - the complete opposite of the first call. Lenny answered my questions and gave me good advice - she saved the day for me and my Nutrisystem review.

Nutri System worked for me 3 years ago, I lost >70#. Unfortunately, last year I returned to my old habits and have now put back on a fair share of that lost weight. Just yesterday placed a new order and am giving it another go. Nutri System does not do anything that you cannot do for yourself. It's all about disciplining yourself and portion control. Problem is, while we can do it for ourselves, most of us don't. We need a plan and a guide to stick to. Nutri System provides that, but you have to be totally committed to it, otherwise you're just throwing away your cash dollars Yankee money. Now, about that money. The food is really delicious, no doubt about it. I found a few things in a previous order that I got that I accepted what they packed that I didn't like, so I began choosing my own on their website for the next 2 orders. Great food, but it IS expensive for what you get. Also, their "Free Shipping" claim is a little misleading. They didn't charge any shipping, but they did charge $9.95 for "packing". That's like the "handling and shipping" charge that companies charge you but without the shipping. The packing charge, to be sure, probably didn't cover the cost of shipping but it was a hidden fee. Also, while they do not claim to send you a month supply of groceries it's surely implied. Actually, you only get 20 or 21 days of groceries, and you do still have to buy some additional meals and any condiments you might want. I am "middle of ther road' on my evaluation of NS. It's good, it works, and I'm a returning customer. But there is drawbacks as my above review points out.

I have resolved the problem with Nutrisystem through another website. Whatever you do DO NOT order from this company. I have read the terms and conditions of this contract and yes, there is a $125 cancelation fee. I didn't know this when I originally call to cancel my account. Not that I like it, I understand that it was to be paid (now). I my problem is that while I was speaking to a rep, I asked to speak to a supervisor, after several minutes of him berateing me about a $30 fee and him making sure that I knew that he thought I was a failure at the program, he put me on hold. I was on hold for several minutes and when he finally came back he proceeded to tell me that his supervisor was at lunch and would called me back when she returned, "Oh and by the way here's your conformation # for your cancellation". At that time I received an email from my PayPal account, advising me that I just made a payment to Nutrisystem. The man had the nerve to charge my account while he had me on hold. I have called everyday, each rep has told me what he did was ok. This is so sad, that he could do this behind my back and it be ok. My call is being reviewed now (sure it is) but, we all know how this is going to end. I will continue to call each day until I get a call back. He knew what he was doing was wrong, why else would he have to sneak and charge me. I want an apology and someone to tell me what he did was wrong! If I were Marie Osmond, I wouldn't want to be known as a spokeperson for a company that has such bad reviews. BBB alone has 99 bad reviews and I am getting ready to add another. Customer service sucks. I guess that wasn't necessary to be said. Obvious, right?

Was somewhat disappointed. Being prepackaged food, for the most part it was ok. Pros - Receive shipments instead of grocery shopping, did not have to prepare meals; Cons - Expensive, a lot of fiber which did not do well with my digestive system, did not fill me up, customer service was pushy when I tried to cancel. Overall, if you can afford it and aren't a picky eater if might work for you.
