Alright so i'm 13 and looking for a cheap oculus quest 2 and i found one that is pretty cheap and with free shipping so.. it has a best seller tag on it please answer

I ordered a PC case from Newegg, and one of the tempered glass panels was completely shattered when I opened the shipping container. To get it replaced I need to print out a shipping label, take the heavy box to a shipping center, ship the damaged case back to Newegg, wait for it to arrive, wait for them to "process" for 3-5 days, then wait for them to send me a replacement. After spending thousands of dollars on their website, they can't just send me a replacement based on the photos I took of the damaged product. I have to wait 2 weeks or more for the replacement to arrive. In the meantime I have exposed computer parts waiting for a case. When I explained how inconvenient this was and how it was completely their fault, they offered me a laughable $8 coupon for my next purchase. Terrible, terrible experience with customer support and I will think twice before purchasing from Newegg again.EDIT: I called customer support, and they offered to send me an advance RMA in good faith. I should get the replacement in a matter of days rather than weeks.

Great price and quality ratio for hardware on this site if you are not in a hurry cause the professed delivery times are often exceeded. Otherwise I am happy with the service.

Suspect and fraudulent behavior.Firstly, I've used newegg for > 10 years! My last several orders this year for Lenovo P50 parts have been delayed and/or non-existent. I order, they say its coming, nothing shows. To boot, these guys charge you when you click the "buy" button--meaning if there's a shipping issue with your product, they get to earn interest and invest that hard earned money of yours. Sound fishy? It is. Enron and Sunbeam were other companies that utilized this type of revenue recognition.So what exactly happens when your shipment doesn't come? You call customer service, speak with someone nice and competent. However, they're not like other customer service agents: they can only follow policy, rather than "what's right" as most other customer service pipelines allow. You're told the only way forward is a "7-10 day investigation" after which you'll receive a refund or a new order for your product. If you're reading along, that means from the original date of purchase they have your funds for half a month, minimum, and you end up with no computer parts. At best, you got a 21-day delivery for your computer part...I hope you don't actually need that part!To say the least, I will be severing any and all future business with Newegg.It's depressing to witness such abysmal, low-quality humanity.--update, after the factMy part did eventually show up, though tracking and all claimed "delivered". This was well after the promised date and customer service could provide no information/insight as to what happened. I stand by my critique of their shady revenue recognition scheme and horrid service structure, however, it is unfair of me not to update, considering the part did arrive, eventually.

I used to love Newegg, when their prices were competitive.

The ONLY reason I am not giving a 1 star is because I did not actually lose money in my exchange with NewEgg, but my one encounter was incredibly negative. I placed an order on a great deal I saw, and noticed I had plugged in my shipping address one number incorrectly. I can admit this is my mistake. The problem starts when customer support makes a promise they will get the address updated and send me an email in a couple of days confirming it is updated. A few hours later, my order is cancelled, and the deal that I ordered from is over. $180 in saving just lost. If they would have just told me my order had to be cancelled, I would have reordered. After a couple of chats with customer service, I had a $5 credit offered to me that I declined, and the advice of put your address in correctly next time, and just pay full price for the items. I have decided I will just use NewEgg to price match elsewhere, and will avoid them like the plague due to their customer service.Edit: NewEgg reached out and allowed me to purchase a slightly better CPU and the same motherboard for a comparable discount. Definitely won't give 5 stars since it took writing a bad review, but they did do something about it.
