Not for the first time, went at Miller and Carter tonight, to celebrate our son's 28th birthday with a meal out. It was more than a meal! It was a cosy enjoyment! Fantastic food, fabulous service from Courtney, a highly educated and professionaly at the top of her job!Thank you Miller and Carter! We'll come again and certainly will recommend you to every friend and relatives of ours!Happy 2020,by the way!

We Had A Works Do There Last Night For Someone That Was Leaving, From The Stage Of Booking To The Meal Its Self And General Customer Service Was All Excellent, Thoroughly Enjoyed The Night.Lillian Our Waitress Was Amazing And Made Us All Feel Welcome.So Good In Fact Our Boss IS Taking His Wife There Next Week For Her Birthday.Thanks A lot Guys Will Definitely Use You Again.

Our party of 6 adults & two children visited last Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday. My wife & I have always enjoyed our previous visits & were full of expectation that this would be the same, especially as our table was booked early. Unfortunately this was not to be the case.Our order was taken, but the waitress then returned to advise that there was only one tomahawk steak available, we had ordered two. I would have expected any decent steakhouse to have had a sufficient supply of meat as advertised by their menus.Our drinks & starters were served promptly, we were then served with our lettuce accompaniment to our steak, these did not look appetising, I could have prepared better myself. The lettuce was extremely wet, it dripped if held up! After a further 30 minutes we were served our main meals. We had requested that our tomahawk steak be served medium, as recommended, it was in effect medium to rare, too rare for my liking, the deeper into the steak we cut the rarer it was.We are not used to complaining in public hence my review now & I am hoping that this was a one-off experience but it has put us off visiting again which is a shame.

Iv came here a few times always had a fillet steak.. and it’s been fine I get it medium rare, tonight they let me down with a rare steak that was really hard to cut and the onion loaf was hard and burnt. So was my boyfriends. We didn’t complain because we are loyal customers and I can’t bring myself to complain. But it’s put me off for a while. Sorry but it disappointed

I visited the Kettering restaurant with my husband, it was the first time since it changing from a Harvester. The restaurant was nicely refurbished and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was relaxing, I'd say the restaurant was about a third full. Our waiter soon introduced himself and he gave us the right amount of time to choose our food and drinks. The food arrived reasonably promptly but I noticed that the steaks we had asked for to be well done were actually medium rare. I didn't mention this to staff until a few mouthfuls in when I realised my steak was so chewy as to be inedible. I called the waiter over, who apologised and offered to replace the meal. I decided to play it safe and order a chicken meal, which was very nice. The manager came over and personally offered his apologies for the steak not being right. When it came to the bill, to compensate £5 was deducted off the price of the original meal, so in effect I was charged for the chicken meal, which was £3 cheaper, plus an extra £2 off. I was overall disappointed with our visit to this restaurant, although I can't fault the customer service. The menu is expensive and I thought I was in for a real treat. On reflection it was poor value for money and I'm not sure I will return. I'd say the whole idea behind the food and its presentation is gimmicky. There is no salad, just a chunk of lettuce with a sauce poured over it, served in a bowl, which makes it hard to eat. Very lazy and unimaginative in my opinion. The fries are served in a small metal container packed out with paper at the bottom, so there aren't many in there. You get more at Macdonalds. The drinks are expensive too. For the price we paid we could have got a decent meal elsewhere with dessert too.
