Staff at Maidenhead always greet politely, and helpful when I have had the occasional query. Since store opened, I have never had need to complain about a product, only once had to exchange an item, which was done efficiently, thanks.

NO CHOICES

Going away end of the week so did not want a full shop. I don’t usually use Lidl but as we were passing decided to go in for a few items. Limited supply of fruit and veg. No carrots, Brussels or cabbage. I wanted some small oranges but they do not sell loose (told this at checkout after picking some out of a box) The box must have contained over 30 clementines, possibly more. Why? Same with other items only in packs, plastic wrapped. Not impressed. I also wanted peppers, but only red, no green. Prices are much the same as larger supermarkets, at least in our town, so won’t bother again.

Great products

Lidl are growing fast. The tools and garden furniture and products that are German made are fantastic in quality and price.. We shop more and more in Lidl for all food and non food items. I hope they return to selling lactose free products.

On my first visit to the local Lidl

On my first visit to the local Lidl, I found the employees to be very helpful (thank you, Jade!) even the stores manager was friendly so I was comfortable immediately upon walking in. Store was clean and fully stocked, prices are amazing! Although several of my standard name brand shopping items are not carried I am able to try the comparable brands that this company sells. Have not yet tried their products but I plan on returning in the near future.

Good Customer Service

I needed to return a faulty microwave. The guy on the telephone helpline was polite and explained how he would help me get a refund by writing me a confirmation letter to take to the shop.Once in the shop the manager and the guy on the tills were very decent about the whole process.

Lidl - Woodley, Berkshire. Very busy

The Lidl in Woodley precinct is always very very busy. There is rarely any staff on the shop floor and the till queues are bordering on crazy. I understand that this is common place at Lidl and does help keep their prices lower, but there is a balance. The positives are the price of items and variety of European foods.
