I just wanted to write a review especially during these awful times. I just wanted to praise Jet 2 for the professionalism displayed during the awful circumstances. This is something none of us have experienced before but you’ve continued to deliver excellent customer service and have been honest throughout. I received my full refund with no issues at all, sadly this isn’t something other airlines have done. I will without doubt use jet 2 again as soon as it’s safe to fly. Thank you very much jet 2 you’ve been amazing, keep up the brilliant work.

Always super helpful

I first used Jet2holidays in 2019 after receiving such excellent customer service from them in resort when I was on holiday with their competitor in 2017!! The staff are always on-hand and super helpful :-)

Fantastic holiday from beginning to end

From booking to returning home, all was plain sailing, even during the beginning of the Canary Islands lockdown. Our flights left on time going out and was only an hour delayed on the return trip. We stayed in Canaima Apartments in Peurto Rico, Gran Canaria upgrading to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a lovely large balcony that got sun all day. The apartments were fantastic and the rooms were cleaned almost daily with plenty of fresh towels. We would definitely return and definitely book with Jet2 in the future.

Got to say thank you to Jet2 for a what has turned out to be the best of a bad job.Obviously holiday cancelled, but after one phone call the full refund amount was in my bank within 2 days.Unlike other companies like Holiday Extras who illegally refuse to refund their customers, Jet2 have been professional and honourable in their actions and I will certainly book with them in the future even if it means paying more.Great to see a company with some morals and I wish them every success when business resumes.

Well Done Jet2 Holidays - I Think.

We have been taking Jet 2 Holidays (20+) for last 10 years. It is not Jet2’s fault that they are having to cancel everything. Michael O’Leary, Ryanair on TV a few days ago gave the best explanation (yes really -Michael O’Leary!) that I have heard yet of the massive logistical nightmare of refunding passengers and the timescale necessary.OK, Jet2 is much smaller, but it is still a huge task.We were due to celebrate a birthday (6 x family) in Lanzarote on April 14th. We missed the phone call from Jet2 and did not receive any follow-up call.I sent a letter, an online pre-travel form and an email on 18th April.I received a personalised email reply (thanks Bryony) on 1st May, saying they would rectify the situation and not to worry. This was reassuring. She must have triggered something because on 2nd May they sent the usual email booking confirmation with hotel & flight vouchers again for the 14th April departure!As a result of an email about our June 2020 holiday -see below, I decided to check my credit card transactions online and found that a refund had been received on the 4th of May into each of the different cards, in the exact amounts that they had been used. As the holiday had been booked on 5th Feb, 14 months before, 4 credit cards had been used. 2 for smaller amounts earlier and 2 for large amounts 10 weeks before travel.Great glee – except on checking, the full amount had not been refunded. The 6 x booking deposits of £60 has not been sent. So, I am £360 short and have had to email Bryony again. The original £360 was paid by a credit card that they have refunded 1 of the small amounts to, so it hasn’t gone to another card. I am just glad I still have all the credit cards, otherwise after 14 months, where might they have sent it if you had cancelled or closed a card down?Our June holiday, 2 people to Majorca on 2nd June resulted in the usual email saying to check our contact phone numbers and expect a call from Jet 2 (as per previous holiday)However, on this occasion we received no phone call, just an email to say we would be receiving a refund back to the cards that were used for payment, over the next 28 days. That’s what we wanted (but no choice of credit voucher?) Maybe they have simply changed their procedures?This was the reason I checked our credit card transactions and found our refunds for the April holiday.Strange though, no advice from Jet2 or the credit card companies. I now have 4 credit cards with credit balances on them. We now have to get the money back from the credit cards and this will happen again when we get the refunds for the June holiday.Still, nice to get some money back after all this time. I am putting it all down to Covid 19 teething troubles. Jet2 is, after all, giving cash refunds unlike many other travel companies and they will continue to be our favourite holiday company.We have one other holiday booked with them, December to Madeira, Covid willing, we will not want another refund, we want the holiday.

They have handled this current situation great, you will always be my first port of call from now on when booking holidays

I had a holiday booked to Crete for beginning of may, which got cancelled. Jet2 sent out plenty of emails making sure I was aware of what was going on and my options. I chose not to rebook as my holidays for next year don't get authorised until December and wasn't sure how holiday prices would be effected and didn't want to be stuck with a credit note. I followed the instructions on the email waiting for them to contact me, unfortunately I missed the call, they left a message telling me to wait and they would call again. However about a week later i got an email saying a refund would be put onto the card I paid with within 28 days It only took about 5. Although I didn't speak to anybody personally I feel the company handled my situation very well, I couldn't fault them even in these difficult times. I will be returning and making sure this is my first port of call when I book my future holidays knowing that I can book with confidence. Great service. Keep it up.

Absolutely brilliant throughout this whole pandemic, heard horror stories from other companies, but jet2 from the start too finish, kept me updated from start until they refunded with no quibbles!! Excellent service will definitely rebook with these guys!!

In the current madness

In the current madness, we expected our holiday to be cancelled.Sure enough it was and we sat back to wait for contact from Jet2.When a charming person from Customer Services contacted us, about a week before the departure date, we expressed a preference for a refund.The money (yes, all of it), was back in our account within a few days.Top Marks Jet2, thank you for not turning a nightmare into something worse. We will definitely book with you again, just as soon as the bluebirds reappear over the White Cliffs!Thank you

We were due to fly 7th May, received email confirming cancellation saying they would contact us nearer the date. They did and gave us the options but we chose to wait for a refund. On 30 April received email stating we would receive refund within 28 days to the account from which we paid for the holiday. The full balance was credited to our account within 3 days so we are very happy with Jet2 and we will certainly use them again in future. WELL DONE JET2
