Becareful what you buy.
Ordinarily, I like and shop HT. As of lately, I've found a lot of their products have been high quality. Socks for one last awhile. But beware of certain items. I bought a sports bottle from them. The body was so thin that it broke when it struxk something. Most sports bottles bounce or can handle the force. This one's body was rigid but paperthin. They moderated my review on their site. Obviously, they didn't want to lose business which should be on them because they should have chosen quality products to carry in their stores. The stores are closed because of the virus and I fear I may not be able to return the product or exchange it when they do open again. Some of their products tend to be overpriced. This $15 container is something I would expect to buy for temporary use at a dollar store except the dollar store would have more quality and much cheaper.

UK shipping is a joke.
Items came in great time, packaged well. Only issue is the extortionate shipping costs to the UK. I bought 5 Funko pops and the shipping was $38 (£29). An order from Australia on the other side of the planet containing 7 pops (including a supersize) only cost me £23. And I was shocked to discover that this isn't even based on the weight of the parcel, as when I added one single pop to the basket the shipping still came up as $38!

I found the Nightmare Before Christmas…
I found the Nightmare Before Christmas long tee shirt and a Lion King Purse and a Japanese Anime Lanyard. And it was amazing on the inside of the store. I got a Tokyo Ghoul shirt from My Abba.

Had good a experience with them.
I've had good experience shopping with hot topic online. I had ordered makeup pallettes in which they didn't show up broken or busted, got the right shirt and size and got my posters I had asked for. I got my discount when I was checking out. Now, I've never shopped there when it's close to the holidays since it tends to get hectic with orders coming later than expected. Other than that, Haven't had a problem yet,but, I do love their merch they have including the anime ones, the posters, accessories and makeup.

Easy to deal with service
Ordered a bunch of shirts during black friday and most came fine but UPS lost 3 of them. Called the store and they had no problem getting a reorder set up for reshipment. Still waiting but thats okay, I understand that shipping during this time can be chaotic.

I went to the store with some friends and we both didn’t have enough money. 2 of the employees used there own money just so we can get our items. They spent $14 on the both of us. What gods.

It's 50/50 with this website sometimes it goes slow sometimes it works fine. Depending what you order it takes time or you get it within a week. Not to mention their somethings they need to fix like to redeem something it was hard to redeem because I didn't really know how. Honestly I think the prices are way to expensive as well.

Store is way better than the website
I’ve been a customer at Hot Topic for years. I’ve never had a bad experience in the store, but the website is full of bad experiences. They don’t ship your order on time, they won’t let you use your hot cash coupons on the site without issue, they’ll cancel your order out of nowhere sometimes, say that something’s in stock but then you get an email that says “Sorry! This item is unavailable! Thanks for trying to shop with us!” And don’t even try to call customer service unless you wanna stay on hold for an hour and get hung up on. Email them and they usually reply within a few hours. The last time I went on the website one of the shirts I ordered came within 3 days but then I had to inquire about the rest of my order after nearly two weeks because they sent the same tracking number for the rest of my order as they did for the shirt so it was useless to track it. If it wasn’t for the fact that the nearest store is all the way in Albany, NY when I live 40 minutes from there and don’t have time to go there, I would stop using the website entirely
