I am a United Kingdom resident and I recently purchased a Canada Goose Reid jacket from Gilt. I am extremely pleased with the accurate information I received via email from Gilt informing me when my package had been dispatched and when it had been Internationally shipped. It was only on shipment that my credit card was charged. Shipping was via DHL from Cincinnati (US ) and arrived at my home in Manchester (UK) within 3 days. I was able to track each step via DHL tracking. Really excellent service even during the Covid-19 pandemic. My jacket arrived with all original sales tags attached in perfect condition. Outer packaging a little battered but understandable the distance it had travelled. Extra (UK taxes) included at checkout within the final payment. Yes I would order through Gilt again.

I ordered a pair of Tom Ford shades. Authentic and in excellent condition. The package arrived on scheduled delivery date. Will use Gilt again.

I actually didn’t have a bad experience per se. I was nervous after placing my order after reading all the negative reviews. I ordered an MCM bag at discounted price (final sale). My CC was not charged for the purchase until 2 weeks later so that was also making me nervous. While still waiting for the product to ship I contacted customer service and they said it should another couple of days to process/ship. They were correct. Delivery was ~3 days after what they estimated. Product was authentic and mint condition. I’ve had worse experiences, and wasn’t disappointed so I’ll use them again.

I bought a used LV verdis bag which had no serial number, and I doubted if the bag was even leather. I called customer service and the very nice woman heard my story and agreed to refund my money. Five stars for her. They should not be so trusting of their "suppliers", though. So my rating overall is middling. I was disappointed about the bag, having looked forward to getting it, and being disappointed at the quality and condition.

My experience was pleasant!I have placed an order few weeks ago.I was surprised how fast it arrived taking into consideration the fact that the items are shipped from USA to Europe. My parcel has arrived within 1 week delivered by DHL.However there is only one thing that bothers me,my Zadig and Voltaire jacket came without labels and tags.It looks unworn and in perfect condition and the material seems of the best quality.I doubt it is a fake!However,it makes me think why somebody took away the labels?Maybe for tax purposes?I have paid the import duties as well.

I did not have experience with return, just I know, my size of selected brands. I have once order (to Denmark) and I received about 2 weeks after shipping. It is little bit long time, but I can understand, that it is from USA. And I am happy with my purchase :)

Excellent experience with Gilt. I am puzzled with such a low rating, I had nothing but an outstanding experience with Gilt. I got a beautiful original designer dress for a fraction of the price. Shipping was fast, a bit expensive, but the discount on the price of my merch justifies it. I live in Southern Europe, and I got my merch in 7 days. Good job Gilt.

I used to love Gilt since the beginning. My complaint relates to ship: take so long to ship to you, and sometimes they change the ship date... you almost forget what you bought.

I read reviews here and couldn't see gilt in blacker light than one presented here, but never mind i decided to go against the odds and made my purchase, as i expected and anyone with sane mind can imagine all went fine, shirts were delivered to EU on time, no import duties asked and shirts are in perfect condition. I even invited my wife and we got 25$ credit both for the future purchases! So if you think to order anything from them don't get influenced by bogus reviews like French girl who left 1 star without buying anything only because she read other 1 star reviews beforehand.

I recently bought a sequin sheath dress from Gilt, it was on quite a big discount sale, shipped and delivered within a week (unlike some of the reviews here). Very satisfied with that. Also, i thought maybe the dress was put on sale on Gilt because it was a bit lower quality, but i was surprised when i actually received it - it was ironed out and sequins look tightly and prettily attached to the fabric. I would go back to buy some more. :-) Ah, the sizing of the T Tahari skirt I ordered was definitely not a 4 (but larger) but I don't mind, shrugging it off, I gave the skirt to a very good friend who loves it and also looks amazing in it.

Finally, GILT accepted my return, I update the rating to 3 stars here.Hi,I am writing to warm shoppers whom is going to order from this store. The worst store I have ever used, I was so regret to order form them.I placed an order which is a Diesel Black Gold Jeans, when I get the product, it comes with a Diesel Tag, you know "Diesel Black Gold" is not equal to "Diesel", they are 2 different bands, alright I through that's a wrong tag. When I wear that jeans, as a slim fit of W30, that's definitely too tight, at least 2 size down if comparing to other Diesel Back Gold jeans, I own 6 other diesel black gold jeans, the fit is not extreme like this. I cannot even put my legs into the pants. I suddenly realize that should be a Fake product or high potential to be a fake product. As the quality is not up to expected, I will just return the jeans. I sent email to their CS and asking for a return, here is the reply:-------------------------------------------------------------------I’m so sorry to hear your Diesel Black Gold Cotton Fading Slim Jeans do not fit! That sounds incredibly disappointing and I do empathize with your situation. Unfortunately however, all international orders are final sale and non-returnable. This is indicated on the sale page and again at checkout. As such, I cannot accept the return or exchange of this item.-------------------------------------------------------------------Before ordering the jeans, I clearly saw the word "Returnable" in some where of the product page, when I was asking for a return, it becomes "non-returnable", the reply said "This is indicated on the sale page and again at checkout", I was asking what the reason to say "Returnable" in product page, I am not a smart shopper to check everywhere or search the word non-returnable, that's a trap for your customer, this is the worst shopping experience I have.If compare with other shops like YOOX, Farfetch and SSENSE etc., I could say that Gilt doesn't reach the industry standard. I will file a dispute with my credit card provider, at least they know the argument of my order, hopefully there is penalty to this store. Good luck you online shoppers!Stanley

I updated this review to 4 stars, after an initial 1 star review, because of the very quick response from the Gilt team to the review. They reached out immediately and looked back at all the interactions and corrected the situation. That is impressive!

I purchased 6 sheet sets, all different brands and designs and all separate orders. Shipping time and cost to Australia was very reasonable - i had no issues except once, more on that later. I also added a few homeware items to a couple of these orders. I have not ordered any fashion related items and the majority of negative reviews seem to be around these products. I was on the search for Italian woven sheeting and the most cost effective resource turned out to Gilt. It did deliver on this. They had some big brands such as Frette, Sferra, Matteo and Anne de Solene who is not Italian. They also had brands you had never heard of and internet searching didn't reveal much except vague company websites. Of course in the results was Gilt selling their sheet sets, as I guess they are about the only one that stock their products. And they do stock a lot of these unknowns. So their is a ? mark over that. Also some reviews of mainline brands in particular Matteo were alleging they were of lower quality as compared to buying direct. One set I did was buy was available on the brands site, Frette One Bourdon Percale Sheet Set. The Gilt price was really no better than the Frette US site and at times the Frette site was cheaper. Though Gilt's shipping worked out better so I bought it from there. I have no way to compare what else i bought. Though I am satisfied with my other purchases, though i dont think they are true 'Luxury Bedding' as they are marketed by Gilt. The only odd shipping experience i had was an order of sheets that i added a kitchen item to. The sheets arrived in a timely manner, though the other item took weeks. Then they only actually charge you when your item ships so you get all this weird activity on your CC, weird cause they don't really tell you it's going to be billed this way. The worst experience i had was the last item i ordered, order #82043264. Firstly, it was advertised as Sferra. Though upon delivery it isn't. It's a diffusion brand of Sferra. San Severo by Sferra is what that tag says. This is not at all what i was expecting. My favourite sheets are Sferra and that is what I thought I was buying. Initially when these were posted on site they were over $400AUD. Like a lot of things they eventually drop and i managed to get these for about $170AUD. However under laws here this would be item not as described and the retailer could liable for a fine. Not only that, the top sheet had a HOLE IN IT!!!! CS said sorry all sales are final and we do not accept returns from international destinations. Fair enough if its change of mind, but gross misrepresentation and faulty goods!!!!!!!!!Overall i found the service reps I dealt with via email and chat good. Responses were prompt and always dealt with pleasantly. Reading what others have experienced, i think the negs are the policies they are following, and this is where improvements are needed. I purchased some items that dropped in price the next day or two, or appeared in a %off sale. I was given two refunds, and one account credit. While the former is what i would consider good service, the latter not so much. While it is an acknowledgement, you can only add one 'coupon/discout/code' to your order. So if you wanted to shop a percent off sale, you couldn't add your store credit??? This also happens with insider points. This is meant to reward loyal and repeat customers. Your points, that you have earned through spending on Gilt, cannot be added with any other offer. Terrible. Overall it's not bad, but could be better.
