Fruity Loops as a DAW is up there with Ableton & Logic Pro for sure (I have experience with all 3) ... Great selection of sequencers with some awesome sounds, managed to write some pretty good music using Fruity Loops with most of the purchaseable extra's.Midi control a little difficult (modulation) but not too hard if you can use YouTube ;)Re-arranging a whole track can be bit of a pain because the tool used to select is different to the tool used to drag+move (requires a click on a different tool)A solid choice for anyone with no previous experience with professional DAW's, user interface is a lot more user-friendly than Ableton and mostly more friendly than Logic Pro though lacking in more advanced features (that are only really used at pro level anyway) compared to Ableton & Logic Pro.

I had the opportunity to purchase the "Signature Bundle" version of FL Studio, at first I had some installation problems so I contacted support to help me with the error. To sum it all up, in less than half an hour I had my FL Studio installed, so that's why I took the time to write this review.I have been using it for several days, experimented with each of the plugins they offer and I can say that the price to pay is fair for the quality of the product. Excellent experience!

DAW of Choice! The software is easy to learn and allows us to be creative and achieve our ideas in the studio. For anyone starting out or for top professionals - this software is well worth the time.

This is not a paid review, I want to make that clear. I have never even heard of Image Line, until I wanted to buy FL Studio back in April.I can say without a doubt, you absolutely don't need anything else if you know sound design. I only bought NEXUS3 (VST) because I didn't want to learn sound design. FL Studio, in my opinion, is better than Ableton because FL Studio gives you free lifetime updates, provided you bought a version of Fruity Loops when they started doing this policy.I am telling you, if you want to buy FL Studio, please, for the love of all things, buy the All Plugins edition. I don't even use all the plugins in the All Plugins edition, but you legit don't need anything else after that. It comes with EVERY plugin in the DAW, ranging from distortion, reverb, dynamics, compression, EQs, and all the synths you need from every genre of music.You are not limited to anything with the All Plugins Edition, you have EVERYTHING that you need.Not to mention, if you try to upgrade to the All Plugins edition later it actually costs MORE than just buying it straight up the first time.I want to give a little disclaimer though, a lot of music production tutorials out there will be using VST (external plugins), so unless you don't know sound design, I highly recommend, you learn every expect of the DAW. You don't need Sylenth1, Sawer does the same thing, you don't NEED Serum, Harmour does the same thing. For the love of all things, if you're going to buy Nexus, at least take a look at Sytrus, it has the same exact nobs as all the other Synths in the world. You just have to play with it a bit.If you are interested in music production and sound design, I followed this YouTube tutorial series by this YouTuber named "Utterfly" he has a 63 video tutorial series on how to make music and goes from the very beginning to the very end of music production, and it's FREE. After watching this series, I completed my first song "You", my artist name is Auccuatt if you wanna search "Auccuatt - You", I uploaded it to Label Radar and it already wants to be promoted by a Turkish music promoter (8D Songs) on YouTube with 600K+ subscribers.If you have the desire to make music, EVEN if you just want to do it as a hobby. Buy Image Line's FL Studio. Don't buy anything else. Plain and simple.

I don't know what is up with the other reviews but image line team is always available on the forums. I have dealt with bad customer service of other VSTs and software companies in the past and I would say that very few actually actually respond to the mails, let alone have an active forum dedicated for it's users.

I don't understand those bad reviews, i've been using Fl studio since 2013 and i can guarantee that is completely worth it. Tried Ableton but i didnt like it, i get used to the loop system that FL studio has

What a magnificent creation they have given the world. I use it 12 hours a day, every day. It's great fun for me! It was something I told all of my friends about. They enjoy it as well. They also received the starter packets. We are now all making music together and living in peace. see what I done there, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Anyway, it's a fantastic company with a fantastic product. I can't say enough good things about them!
