Please can I ask for advice. I purchased a ribbed woollen type knit dress from french connection online.After two wears,the dress looks shabby because the wool has ‘pilled’ on one side of the dress. Can I exchange, or return it, because of what I consider to be quality issues.

I find this store is very good for cut on trousers, you can tell the quality is better, you really do get what you pay for! but I usually buy things in the sale, if I can find my size, tops sometimes come up big but it does have a very good description on clothing which is important when purchasing online, where it mentions oversized or generous fit, so I usually buy small. If you return goods the refund is the fastest I have received for online clothing. One thing lacking is the tracking service you do not get any as it is Royal Mail, but if you contact F/C they will give you the tracking number over the phone.

Wonderful customer service when I forgot to use a discount code on my order. In a very pleasant email Kurtis kindly organised a refund of the discount for me and I was so grateful. The shorts I ordered are lovely, arrived quickly and I was delighted with everything about the order.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful customer service team! There was a problem with my order, and everyone was so helpful to resolve it. Such a refreshing change. It’s understandable things don’t go to plan at times but it’s how things are put right, and they couldn’t have done anymore. Well done French Connection xx

UPDATE: originally gave a 1 star due to the below, but FC has now rectified the issue and accepted my return so I am am happy with the service. Response time was slow due to covid pressures but we got there in the end so can't complain! I also had ordered a pillow/tufted cushion from them and it is lovely. Thank you for sorting this issue out for me. No reply from customer service, no live chat or phone lines open. I ordered the wire pendant ceiling light and on the same day decided I'd like to cancel the order as it cost £25 for shipping which seemed ridiculous within London for a pendant light. I emailed, called, tried to find the live chat option on their site (which I have had no luck and doesn't appear to actually be an option). There was no reply to my customer emails in 10 days after repeated tries. Ultimately I was unable to cancel my order, received it, and now I want to arrange for a return which still isn't possible given I can't get a reply from them.Truly awful customer service even considering covid, its really not a good enough excuse. The pendant light isn't as pictured and doesn't detail the drop length which comes with excess cord (am I meant to cut the wire?). Also, all retail companies should be giving customers a reasonable way to cancel their order within a timeframe after placing it, or return it.. It's really made me quite angry as I spent over £100 and is very disappointing so I'd avoid ordering anything from them. Haven't experienced such poor service from any other retailer during all of covid.My order# is 2715208 if someone from FC can please finally contact me!

It was first time that I ordered online from French Connection. It was end of season sale going on and I ordered for store collection as their postage cost was more than £4.00 and I cannot afford to spend so much for 3-5 working days delivery. When I ordered online, I was happy to see the collection and the website. Everything went smoothly and when we reached the store, we were given our order and they asked if we wanted to try and if it doesn't fit or we don't like, they will refund. Still we didn't try as we are daily customers of FCUK and we know their size policy. So, things went smoothly and perfectly. No issues

Good products- excellent sale products.

I bought a large rug and 2 cushions.I love them. They have added colour and character to my lounge.I bought gripper for under the rug. Does the job and shows the rug off to its full potential.I would love to add a light teal cushion to finish the style. Happy customer!

Haven’t actually bought anything, just setting up an account and placed a 30 cm plant pot in my basket , filling in all my details to be shown a STAGGERING £25 pounds for delivery ????? Eh?? Classed as a large item , are you sure 30cm??? Unbelievable, will find something else thanks
