Superb customer service in an independent store (Up and Running in Horsham, West Sussex) and by Brooks in the Netherlands. My £120 Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18 running shoe soles completely gave in after only 200 miles, which was a terrible shock but a full refund was given plus a free pair of new ones to try out.

Really great service from the company…
Really great service from the company and Anna who was dealing with enquiries. I don't quite understand the negative reviews here. I bought some trainers for my mum who has bunions and gets painful feet with many shoes. My mum said the ghost 12 were the most comfortable shoes that she ever worn. She got to try the trainers for 90days and picked the one that was the most comfortable.Customer service has been top notch and we will be buying more from Brooks in the future.

Cascadia 14
My first Brooks trainers were Caldera 3s which were so good I thought I'd buy another pair but they were sold out. Brooks recommended Cascadia 14s which seemed slightly looser than the Calderas. After 6 months my big toes started to come through the mesh. I contacted customer services who sent me out a pair of Caldera 5s. Although I am happy with the customer service I did feel as if they were saying it's kind of my fault as I didn't use them for right purpose??? ( I used them for jogging/ walking) Although I had them for 6 months I didn't use them much and sent them pics of the tread which is like new. The obvious problem is they don't reinforce the toe area and the mesh is so flimsy it's ridiculous. They let me keep the Cascadias so I glued a piece of webbing to the inside of the toe area and it's completely transformed them, they fit snug as hell. Please please Brooks, reinforce the toe ares on your trainers, it's not rocket science and don't make customers feel as if we are lying, all we want is trainers that are fit for purpose. I will use Brooks again and hope they take this feedback constructively and not as a dig.

I ordered from a site called…
I ordered from a site called brooksshoesuk.com Cost £63 inc post. Didnt get email acknowledgement. Checked my card statement. Although price is given in pounds payment was converted to Chinese currency BIG RED FLAG I dont know if this is a genuine site. I have emailed brooksrunning.com to ask if they are aware of this brooksshoesuk.com.site and have also alerted my card fraud department. If this brooksshoesuk.com site is for counterfeit goods it might explain why so many bad reviews for what I know are excellent shoes. I had big problems with painful knees ..got the genuine brooks transcend two years ago and still wearing them for walks and no pain in knees. I will post further developments

They've Narrowed Recently
Giving 3 stars is hard for me because I love Brooks shoes. However, it seems like recently they narrowed their shoes. I always have worn normal width shoes and even have normal width of older versions of their shoes (that still fit). They do not have a good supply of wide shoes. I tried the Richochet 2 and it made my feet tingle and hurt after being loosened as much as possible. The same is happening with the Levitate 3. The styles are awesome, sales are awesome, and return policy is the best!
