Have a 1yr warranty on a recliner. Im still under warranty and boscovs cs stated, after it took them 1mo to respond ,that they are not repairing chair because im reporting a problem 10mos into the 1 yr warranty. And any repairs on what their tech called an unrepairable chair i hav to pay for myself. Big ticket item broke in under a year. Made in usa WOW. N noone stands behind it.

Great department stores are hard to find nowadays. Boscov’s is fantastic! They have what people want…quality merchandise, great employees, and fair prices. You can’t find any better.

Was in boscovs Friday. Picked up couple of things .also picked up some fudge great as usuall.

The employees are always so friendly, they make you feel "at home." Their prices, especialy sales, are not to be beat. It truly is cheaper to shop Boscovs for clothes rather than Goodwill AND why pay more for used clothing when you can buy new for less! I am a serious bargain shopper. I spend hours researching items online before making a purchase, so you can trust me on this.

I was hired as a seasonal associate at Boscovs, and my experience working there was fantastic, and magnificent. The employees and managers I worked with were very pleasant, and friendly. Everyone worked as a team to get the job done right the first time. Bocovs became my second family. I will miss working with the employees and managers but I look forward to going back to work when Boscovs hires again.

Great store, good customer service

I've ordered from Boscov's on 3 separate occasions, since October, 2015, and each order went swimmingly (delivery and item conditions were fine). I was able to get free shipping each time because my purchases met the price requirement. The purchases have all been clothing, so.. yeah, their guidelines on getting free shipping are pretty explicitly stated, just click the shipping banner. Their prices have been amazing, which is why I had ordered so many times in this .. 2 month timeframe. Most recently, Black Friday, they had free shipping at any order value. Unbeatable! The only experience I've had purchasing from them is the 3 times online, and so far I can recommend giving them a try. I hadn't had any hiccups to have to deal with their customer service department, so no comment on that.

We decided to check out Boscov's bedding department for a much needed mattress, spent quite a while looking testing and discussing the different mattresses with Stephen at the north store. He came and asked us if he could help us and gave us all the ins and outs of the different mattresses. Thank you Stephen, there are so many types to pick from. He is very personable and did not rush us and we felt he would have worked with us until we made a decision, no matter how long it was going to take. We bought our mattress of choice and he explained when the delivery would be and that they would call us the day before and let us know the time frame. (now past experience with deliveries from any company has always been a mess so we kind of figured we would just roll with the flow.) Day before the delivery Boscov's called us and said they would be delivering the next morning, just like Stephen said, between 8AM and noon and we were the third delivery, so we figured maybe around 10 to 10:30 or later. Much to our surprise Adam and Sean showed up at 8:30, and the delivery was completed in about 15 minutes. They were personable, polite and very efficient. Thank you Adam and Sean and WOW to Boscov's you did a great job from purchase to setting up and delivery. Best delivery service we have had in a long time. Also have slept two nights on the new mattress and love it!

I hate giving 5-star reviews. Nothing is perfect; but when I see 1-star and 2-star reviews, written either for frivolous reasons or using diction by those who are evident competitors who do not have the ability to compete, I may up my review a star. There was no need to do so in this case.We do not often go to the Eastwood mall in Niles, OH 17 miles away except for Sam's gas; but we are now going to go more often. Reason?? Boscov's. The store is huge, the merchandise is of very good to excellent quality well stocked, and the prices are fair or much better than fair, even better than most other competitors. However, those are not the only reasons. We went in just to look around, and we found a relatively expensive item for our new home for which we had been looking for months; so we were going to purchase it on the spot. However, the sales rep suggested that we apply for a Boscov's credit card. Well, there was a glitch in the process. My wife had a Boscov's account, which she had forgotten, in San Antonio, TX; and it took almost TWO HOURS to straighten it all out to change the information. Cassandra was a gem. She stood with us all the way to get us through, probably even missing or delaying her lunch break. Michelle also pitched in, and so did the manager and so did the staff in customer service. Without them, we probably would have walked. You will be seeing us.
